You will work closely with Product Managers, Business Analysts, UI/UX Designers, Developers, and Client Success teams to validate new features, identify defects early in the software development lifecycle, and deliver high-quality software that meets business and regulatory requirements. The ideal candidate has experience testing enterprise applications or SaaS platforms in financial services, insurance, banking, or tax-related environments and is passionate about delivering exceptional software quality. Key Responsibilities Test Planning & Quality Strategy Develop comprehensive test strategies, test plans, and test cases based on business requirements, functional specifications, user stories, wireframes, and interactive prototypes. Participate in requirements reviews and design discussions to identify test scenarios, acceptance criteria, and potential quality risks early in the development process. Ensure testing aligns with business requirements, compliance standards, and quality objectives. Functional & Regression Testing Execute manual functional, integration, system, and end-to-end testing across web-based applications. Design and maintain comprehensive regression test suites to validate application stability across releases. Verify defect fixes through retesting and perform impact analysis for new functionality. Test Automation Develop, maintain, and enhance automated test scripts for regression, smoke, and critical functional test scenarios. Identify opportunities to improve automation coverage and reduce manual testing effort. Integrate automated testing into CI/CD pipelines to support continuous testing and faster software releases. Monitor automation execution results and continuously improve test reliability and maintainability. UAT Readiness & Release Support Ensure applications are fully tested and ready for User Acceptance Testing (UAT). Coordinate with Product Owners, Business Analysts, and business stakeholders to support UAT planning and execution. Prepare UAT environments, validate test data, and assist users during testing cycles. Verify production readiness and participate in release validation and post-deployment smoke testing. Collaboration & Continuous Improvement Collaborate with Product Managers, Developers, UI/UX Designers, Business Analysts, and Client Success teams throughout the software development lifecycle. Review wireframes and prototypes to identify usability issues, functional gaps, and potential quality concerns before development begins. Recommend improvements to testing processes, quality standards, and automation practices. Contribute to quality metrics, release reports, and lessons learned to drive continuous improvement. Qualifications Required Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field. 5+ years of experience in Software Quality Assurance or Software Testing. Familiarity with API testing tools such as Postman or Swagger. Experience using defect tracking and project management tools such as Jira or Azure DevOps. Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Preferred Experience working in financial services, banking, fintech, insurance, tax operations, or claims administration. Experience supporting UAT and release management activities. Familiarity with SQL for data validation and database testing. Experience working in Agile/Scrum development environments.
