Data Scientist / Predictive Modeler About The Role We are looking for a hands-on Data Scientist / Predictive Modeler responsible for developing, validating, and executing predictive models that support data-driven business strategies. The ideal candidate must have current or recent professional experience in predictive modeling and strong practical knowledge of statistical and machine learning techniques. Key Responsibilities Develop, validate, and execute predictive and scoring models. Apply hands-on expertise in: Classification Linear Regression Random Forest XGBoost / Gradient Boosting Analyze complex datasets and identify meaningful patterns and relationships. Handle data-quality challenges, including skewed distributions, imbalanced datasets, missing values, and extreme outliers. Perform data preparation, feature engineering, statistical analysis, and model evaluation. Use Python and SQL for data extraction, analysis, and model development. Use R for model execution, scoring workflows, automation, and reporting. Validate model performance and investigate unexpected results. Translate predictive modeling results into clear and actionable business insights. Continuously improve modeling workflows, accuracy, and efficiency. Required Qualifications 5–8+ years of professional experience in Data Science, Predictive Modeling, Statistical Modeling, Machine Learning, or Quantitative Analytics. Mandatory: Current or recent hands-on professional experience developing predictive models. Strong production/business experience—not academic or graduate-school projects only. Demonstrated hands-on experience with: Classification Linear Regression Random Forest XGBoost / Gradient Boosting Strong proficiency in Python, SQL, and R . Experience working with complex transactional, customer, marketing, behavioral, or similar datasets. Strong knowledge of statistical modeling, predictive analytics, model validation, and scoring methodologies. Experience with data preparation, feature engineering, model evaluation, and interpretation. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. Work Location: Remote
