Work Overview: We are looking for a solid Mid-Level Unity Developer to join on a full-time contract basis. This is not a junior role; you must have the experience to work autonomously and problem-solve effectively. There is a strong possibility of extending this contract into a longer-term arrangement based on performance. We are pushing the boundaries of our development pipeline and rely heavily on modern AI tools. Using AI coding assistants directly in your local PC setup is an absolute MUST. Whether you use AI IDEs like Google Antigravity, Cursor, or Windsurf, or terminal agents like Claude Code hooked into the Model Context Protocol (MCP), you must be entirely comfortable driving an AI-first workflow. Additionally, our project involves Virtual Reality. While you don't need to be a senior VR architect, having prior VR experience in Unity and owning a headset for local testing (even an older model like a Meta Quest 2) is a massive plus. Scope of Work & Responsibilities: Core Development: Write clean, efficient, and maintainable C\ code for Unity. AI Integration & Workflow: Actively use AI tools (Claude Code, Google Antigravity, MCP servers) directly on your machine to accelerate development, debug code, and automate editor tasks. Asset Management: You do not need deep 3D modeling knowledge or artist skills, but you must have practical experience handling 3D models within Unity (importing assets, setting up prefabs, managing materials, and organizing hierarchies). Adaptability: Be highly flexible and willing to learn new systems, SDKs, and workflows on the fly. Required Skills & Experience: 3–4 years of proven, commercial Unity development experience (Mid-level). Mandatory: Hands-on, daily use of AI coding tools integrated into your PC environment (Claude Code, Google Antigravity, Cursor, MCP, etc.). Solid understanding of standard 3D asset pipelines from a developer's perspective. Strong communication skills and a proactive approach to learning. Bonus / Nice-to-Have: Prior experience developing Virtual Reality (VR) applications in Unity. Owning a VR headset for local testing (e.g., Meta Quest 2, Meta Quest 3, etc.). Logistics: Availability: Full-time (Contract basis). Location: 100% Remote. Application Question(s): Do you own a VR headset? Are you comfortable with working in compatible with other timezones? Did you work on a VR project before? Have you worked on a project using Claude code, google antigravity or Unity MCP integration? Experience: Unity: 3 years (Required) Work Location: Remote
