About The Role • We're looking for an organised, reliable and proactive People & Compliance Coordinator to join our People & Compliance team for a commercial cleaning company in Australia. This is a remote role and you will be based in the Philippines, supporting our Australian operations. • Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:30 PM AEST • This is a varied role supporting recruitment, onboarding, compliance, workplace health and safety administration, and learning activities across the business. • You will have a primary area of responsibility within either Recruitment or Compliance & Onboarding, while being trained across both functions. This ensures the team can provide consistent support during periods of leave, peak recruitment periods and changing business needs. • The successful candidate will take ownership of their work, communicate professionally and enjoy working in a structured environment where accuracy, reliability and follow-through are important. • This role directly supports our people, clients and business operations. You will be responsible for managing important information, maintaining accurate records and ensuring tasks are completed correctly and on time. Key Responsibilities • Recruitment & Candidate Coordination • Review applications and shortlist candidates against role requirements • Conduct candidate pre-screening calls and provide recommendations for interview • Coordinate interviews and maintain candidate communication • Complete reference checks prior to employment offers being issued • Advertise vacancies across relevant job platforms • Maintain accurate candidate records and recruitment databases • Follow up outstanding onboarding documentation • Compliance & Onboarding Coordination • Verify employee onboarding documentation and ensure requirements are met before commencement • Coordinate employee inductions and ensure completion prior to first shift • Maintain compliance records, licences, clearances and employee documentation • Support workplace health and safety administration, including incident reporting and corrective actions • Assist with audits, compliance reviews and document control • Support client compliance portals, tender submissions and required documentation • Maintain training records and assist with learning and development coordination • Support continuous improvement initiatives and process improvements • Support recruitment campaigns and pre-screening during high volume periods About You • You will be successful in this role if you: • Are organised, dependable and able to manage competing priorities • Take ownership of your work and consistently deliver high quality outcomes • Communicate clearly and professionally in both written and spoken English • Build positive relationships with candidates, employees and internal stakeholders • Are comfortable working independently while contributing to a collaborative team environment • Learn new systems quickly and enjoy improving processes • Are adaptable and willing to support different areas of the team as business needs change • Maintain confidentiality and use good judgement when handling sensitive information • Essential Requirements • 1 to 2 years' experience in Recruitment, HR, Compliance or a fast paced administration role • Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing accurate work • Excellent written and verbal English communication skills • Strong organisational and time management skills • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines • Confidence using Microsoft Office and learning new systems • Strong data entry accuracy and administration skills • Ability to work Australian business hours • Availability requirement This is a full time position requiring your full attention during rostered working hours. You cannot undertake another job, freelance work or operate another business at any time during your rostered hours with us.
