Role Overview You are the owner of creative marketing execution across modCounsel's portfolio of brands. You transform ideas, business priorities, thought leadership, events, and campaigns into compelling content and visual assets that drive audience growth, engagement, and business opportunities. You operate as both a copywriter and designer, bringing concepts to life through written content, social media assets, presentations, event materials, email campaigns, and brand collateral. You are comfortable moving between strategy discussions and hands-on execution, translating ideas into polished deliverables without requiring multiple layers of support. This role is ideal for someone with an agency-style "copy and art" mindset—someone who can think creatively, write clearly, design effectively, and execute quickly in a fast-paced startup environment. While you will collaborate with leadership and subject matter experts for content direction, you are expected to independently develop creative concepts, draft content, design assets, and support marketing initiatives from idea to delivery. How You Will Make Your Impact Content Development \& Copywriting Develop content for LinkedIn, newsletters, blogs, email campaigns, webinars, and marketing initiatives Transform executive and subject matter expert insights into engaging content Write compelling copy aligned with brand voice and target audiences Create content briefs, outlines, scripts, headlines, and campaign messaging Repurpose existing content into multiple formats and channels Maintain consistency in messaging across all marketing assets Graphic Design \& Creative Production Design social media graphics, carousels, presentations, one-pagers, brochures, and promotional materials Create visual assets that align with brand standards and campaign objectives Develop webinar, event, and campaign collateral Produce marketing materials for sales enablement and business development efforts Maintain brand consistency across visual and written communications Support basic video and multimedia content production when required Event \& Campaign Management Manage planning and execution of webinars, virtual events, and marketing campaigns Develop promotional assets and content for events Coordinate marketing deliverables required for campaigns and initiatives Assist in post-event content repurposing and audience engagement activities Social Media \& Audience Growth Manage content calendars and publishing schedules Maintain consistent content output across platforms Monitor engagement and identify opportunities for audience growth Recommend content formats and creative approaches based on performance insights Stay informed on platform trends, content formats, and best practices Performance \& Optimization Track content and campaign performance metrics Analyze engagement trends and audience behavior Identify successful content patterns and recommend improvements Continuously refine creative approaches based on performance data Cross-Functional Collaboration Partner with leadership and internal stakeholders to understand business priorities Translate technical, legal, and business topics into accessible content Support recruiting, employer branding, and company culture initiatives when needed Collaborate with external freelancers or vendors as required Attributes of Success in this Role Strong creative instincts with both copywriting and design capabilities Ability to take ownership and execute with minimal supervision Comfortable working in a fast-paced startup environment Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality Flexible and organized and able to manage multiple projects simultaneously Resourceful problem-solver who can work within constraints Curious, adaptable, and eager to learn new tools and approaches Able to balance creativity with business objectives What Success Looks Like Consistent delivery of high-quality content and creative assets Strong support for marketing campaigns and events Growth in audience engagement and brand visibility Timely execution of marketing requests and priorities Professional, on-brand content and visual communications Increased efficiency through creative ownership and self-sufficiency Minimum Requirements 3\+ years of experience in marketing, content creation, advertising, creative services, or related fields Strong portfolio demonstrating both writing and design work Experience creating content for social media, digital marketing, and business audiences Proficiency with Canva and/or Adobe Creative Suite Strong copywriting and storytelling skills Experience developing marketing assets from concept through execution Familiarity with LinkedIn and B2B content marketing Strong visual communication and presentation design skills Experience supporting webinars, events, or marketing campaigns preferred Basic video editing skills Experience with email marketing platforms Familiarity with SEO and content optimization Experience working in startups or lean marketing teams Agency background (copywriter, art director, creative strategist, account creative, etc.) an advantage Experience in professional services, legal services, consulting, SaaS, or B2B environments an advantage Benefits Flexible schedule Work from home Work Location: Remote
