Role Summary The Bookkeeper will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, reconciling accounts, and supporting the business in meeting its financial compliance obligations under Australian standards. This role requires a strong understanding of Australian accounting principles, GST requirements, payroll related legislation and the use of accounting software such as MYOB, XERO, and payroller. Key Responsibilities Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records Reconcile bank and credit card statements prepare and lodge Business Activity statements (BAS) and IAS Process payroll in compliance with Fair Work and ATO requirements Maintain employee records including superannuation and leave entitlements Assist with end-of-month and end-of-year financial reporting Liaise with external accountants and auditors as required Ensure compliance with ATO regulations, including GST and PAYG withholding Manage petty cash and company credit cards Prepare ad hoc financial reports and/or tasks as needed Other compliance including Payroll Tax , Workers compensation declarations, and fringe benefits tax. Skills & Qualifications Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar bookkeeping role. Proficiency in Xero; familiarity with MYOB is a plus Sound knowledge of Australian taxation, superannuation, and payroll related legislation High level of accuracy and attention to detail Strong time management and organizational skills Excellent written and verbal communication Ability to work independently and maintain confidentiality Job Type: Full-time Pay: Php80,000.00 - Php95,000.00 per month Experience: AU Payroll Tax: 3 years (Required) Xero, MYOB or Payroller?: 3 years (Required) GST, PAYG, payroll legislation, and superannuation?: 3 years (Required) Work Location: Remote
