Do you have great experience working on Next.js, React, TypeScript, Node.js and Firebase; do you practice AI-first development and stay on top of the latest AI tooling and practices; have you worked with a lean team to deliver outstanding results; created some exciting products and looking for a new challenge — we are interested in speaking with you. We are a Sydney based scaleup looking to onboard our next full-time developer to work with the team to continue building the product. We are not looking for a unicorn, but you will be a great fit, if: You have solid experience on our core tech stack: Next.js (App Router) with React and TypeScript, Node.js, and Firebase (Firestore + Cloud Functions) You work AI-first: agentic coding tools (e.g. Claude Code, Cursor) are part of your daily workflow, and you keep up with the latest AI development practices — our engineering process is built around them (agent-driven builds, automated review loops, AI-assisted QA) You've built full-stack features end-to-end — modern React (Server Components, Server Actions), backend business logic, and NoSQL data modelling You have demonstrable experience working on SaaS products (live examples would be very helpful) You care about testing and code quality — we use Jest and Playwright, with type-checking and linting gates on every change Have good written and verbal communication skills Attention to detail Have good development practices and willing to learn new things Can work full-time (40 hours/week) Can work during Sydney business hours Based only in the Philippines Bonus points, if: You've worked with any of the rest of our stack: Ant Design, TanStack Query, Auth0, Algolia, GetStream, Twilio, Vercel You've built marketplace or community-driven products (our product is a community platform for not-for-profits and associations) You've built AI-powered product features (LLM integrations, prompt engineering, evals) You've previously worked on EdTech or community products Job Types: Full-time, Contract
