TruBlue of Chicagoland North Marketing \& Community Manager Location: Remote - Philippines Help Build the Brand Behind a Growing Home Services Company. TruBlue of Chicagoland North provides professional handyman repairs, home maintenance, senior safety upgrades, and home accessibility solutions across the north and northwest suburbs of Chicago. We are building a high-standard home services company focused on trust, professionalism, long-term customer relationships, and becoming a recognized resource for homeowners, seniors, families, and referral partners throughout the local community. We are hiring a remote Marketing \& Community Manage r to help grow the TruBlue of Chicagoland North brand through social media, website updates, community engagement, local relationship-building, and B2B referral network development. This role is ideal for someone who is organized, creative, proactive, comfortable with outreach, and able to represent the company professionally online and in communication with potential partners. This is a marketing, sales support, and community-building role. You will help increase visibility, strengthen the company's digital presence, and build relationships with local referral sources that can drive long-term business growth. Key Responsibilities Support social media marketing efforts across company-approved platforms Create, schedule, and publish social media posts using photos, service highlights, educational content, customer stories, and community-focused updates Organize project photos, customer reviews, testimonials, and brand assets for marketing use Engage with local community groups on social media on behalf of the company, following established guidelines Help update website content, service pages, photos, blog posts, landing pages, and basic company information as needed Support brand-building efforts that position TruBlue as a trusted resource for handyman services, home maintenance, senior safety, and aging-in-place solutions Research and identify potential B2B referral partners, including senior care providers, real estate professionals, property managers, remodelers, community organizations, and local businesses Conduct outreach to prospective referral partners through email, phone, LinkedIn, and other approved channels Help maintain a referral partner database, including contact information, notes, follow-up reminders, and relationship status Support campaigns, promotions, and local marketing initiatives designed to generate leads and build awareness Track marketing activity, outreach efforts, and basic results so ownership can understand what is working Work closely with ownership to strengthen the company's online presence and community reputation Qualifications 3-5\+ years of experience in marketing support, social media management, sales support, community management, business development support, virtual assistance, or a related role Excellent spoken and written English required Strong writing skills with the ability to create polished, professional, customer-friendly content Comfortable making outbound calls and conducting professional email outreach Experience managing or supporting business social media accounts Basic website update experience preferred, such as WordPress, Wix, Squarespace, or similar platforms Strong organization, follow-through, and ability to manage multiple marketing and outreach tasks Comfortable representing a business professionally in online communities and partner communication Experience in construction, remodeling, home services, handyman services, senior services, real estate, or local service businesses is a strong plus Experience with CRMs, email marketing tools, Canva, scheduling tools, or similar platforms is preferred Must be available Monday-Friday with working hours that allow for regular communication during Central Time business hours Reliable computer, internet connection, and quiet work environment required Pay and Benefits Independent Contractor position Pay: USD $10\.00-$12\.00 per hour, based on experience Approximately 35-40 hours per week, depending on business needs Remote role Consistent hours Training, SOPs, and process support provided Growth opportunity as the company scales This is an independent contractor position and does not include employee benefits Why TruBlue of Chicagoland North This role gives you the chance to help build the visibility, reputation, and referral network of a growing home services company.
