Job Description

Job Title: Graphic Designer Location: Highspring Reports To: VP Brand and Creative Department: [Marketing] Brand and Creative Job Summary We're looking for a Graphic Designer to bring brand stories to life through compelling, on-brand visuals across digital and print. As a core member of the Brand & Creative team, this role supports the development of high-quality creative assets used in campaigns, events, internal communications, and more. The ideal candidate is innovative, versatile, efficient, and collaborative-with an eye for design systems and the ability to consistently deliver polished, brand-aligned work in a fast-paced environment. You'll collaborate closely with copywriters, marketers, and fellow designers to support business objectives by delivering impactful visual solutions. Key Responsibilities Creative Development & Design Execution Concept and execute high-quality creative across social media, websites, landing pages, email campaigns, digital advertising, presentations, out-of-home, print collateral, and other marketing channels. Individually create and execute design assets across a variety of channels-social media, websites, emails, digital ads, presentations, print collateral, and more.Apply accessibility and user experience best practices to ensure designs are inclusive, intuitive, and effective. Champion brand consistency across all creative while identifying opportunities to refine and evolve the visual identity as the brand continues to grow.Ensure visual consistency across all design deliverables by adhering to brand guidelines and evolving them as needed. Support larger campaign concepts and content rollouts by translating them into impactful visuals that enhance the message. Collaborate with content writers and stakeholders to contribute creative concepts and visual solutions, bringing fresh ideas that elevate storytelling and audience engagement.to align visuals with messaging and business intent. Develop compelling presentation decks with the ability to create graphics, charts, and supporting visuals that align to the brand. Leverage AI-powered creative tools and emerging design technologies to accelerate workflows, explore new concepts, and enhance creative output. Balance creativity with functionality, producing strong creative work that delivers performance. Must be comfortable producing high volumes of content while maintaining exceptional creative quality and attention to detail. Collaboration & Communication Work closely with the Art Director, as well as the broader marketing team, to support project objectives and timelines. Participate in creative brainstorming sessions and contribute ideas to campaign and brand initiatives. Proactively communicate with the team or partners to ask questions and problem solve. Independently manage workload while communicating clearly and proactively with project managers and business stakeholders about timelines, project progress, and design decisions to meet deadlines. Incorporate stakeholder feedback thoughtfully while balancing business objectives, brand standards, and creative excellence. Accept and apply feedback efficiently while advocating for thoughtful design solutions. File Management & Production Prepare final files for production across digital and print channels, ensuring all specs, formats, and quality standards are met. Maintain organized file structures and manage assets in accordance with internal workflows. Maintain organized source files, design libraries, and production-ready assets in accordance with internal workflows to support efficient collaboration and future scalability. Develop and maintain scalable design templates and visual systems while keeping the brand asset library organized and up to date, including iconography, templates, and photography.Understands templates and visual systems keeping brand asset library updated, including iconography, templates, and image sourcing. Qualifications & Skills Bachelor's degree in graphic design, Visual Communications, or related field. 3-5 years of professional experience as a designer within an in-house marketing team or creative agency. Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, Premier) Figma, and working knowledge of Canva. Strong understanding of layout, typography, color theory, and visual storytelling. Experience designing for both print and digital platforms. Ability to independently manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines without sacrificing quality. A strong portfolio showcasing a range of design work across different mediums and styles. Preferred Qualifications Experience designing within brand systems for professional services or B2B organizations. Demonstrated ability to work proactively and transparently, communicating clearly and collaborating with multiple stakeholders. A passion for clean, thoughtful design and a drive to continuously learn and improve. Familiarity with motion graphics tools (e.g., Premiere Pro, After Effects, or similar) is a plus. Working knowledge of HTML/CSS and digital production basics.
