We’re looking for an experienced Home Health Medical Coder who is detail-oriented, knowledgeable in PDGM, and passionate about delivering accurate, compliant, and high-quality coding. As a Home Health Medical Coder , you will play an essential role in ensuring accurate and compliant patient coding. Your responsibilities will include: Reviewing and analyzing patient charts and clinical documentation Assigning accurate ICD-10-CM diagnosis codes in accordance with CMS PDGM guidelines Ensuring proper code sequencing and compliance with government and insurance regulations Reviewing POC and OASIS documentation Entering and maintaining coding information in our online system Communicating with providers and clinical staff to clarify incomplete or unclear documentation Researching complex or unusual coding cases Staying current with changes in coding guidelines, regulations, and code sets Maintaining the highest standards of accuracy, confidentiality, and information security Ensuring all assigned codes are current, active, and properly supported by documentation Requirements Minimum of 2 years experience in Home Health coding Experience in POC and OASIS Review Certified Professional Coder (CPC) certification HCS-O or HCS-D certification is a plus Knowledgeable of ICD-10-CM, CPT, and HCPCS systems Strong communication and collaboration skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Must be available to commence employment ASAP WHY BUILD YOUR CAREER WITH CLINIQON?
