The Opportunity We are looking for a Senior FP\&A to drive budgeting, forecasting, and financial modeling for a private equity-backed SaaS company. This is a hands-on, high-impact role working closely with the CFO and senior finance team. The successful candidate will take ownership of financial planning processes, maintain the core financial model, monitor SaaS performance metrics, and support reporting to the board. This role is ideal for someone who combines strong technical modeling skills with commercial insight and confidence engaging with senior stakeholders. Key Responsibilities Financial Planning \& Forecasting Lead the annual budgeting cycle and rolling forecasts Build and maintain integrated three-statement financial models (Income Statement, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow) Develop scenario models and driver-based forecasting tools Provide monthly updates on revenue, headcount, and operating expenses Support executive presentations and board reporting SaaS Revenue \& Performance Analytics Maintain and refine ARR and subscription reporting models Track KPIs including bookings, churn, retention, and expansion revenue Deliver insights on unit economics and revenue trends Collaborate with Sales and Revenue Operations to ensure CRM data accuracy Executive Reporting \& Strategic Support Prepare monthly and quarterly reporting packages for leadership and investors Conduct variance analysis and performance reviews Provide financial input for strategic initiatives and capital allocation decisions Support private equity reporting requirements Systems \& Process Improvement Reconcile data across Salesforce, Sage Intacct, and Maxio Enhance reporting workflows and data integrity Introduce automation using advanced Excel tools, including Power Query Improve efficiency and governance in financial reporting Business Partnership Work closely with department leaders to align financial plans with business strategy Monitor budget performance and highlight key areas of focus Provide actionable insights to improve profitability and operational leverage Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field (MBA or CFA preferred) 5–10\+ years in FP\&A or corporate finance SaaS experience strongly preferred; private equity experience is a plus Advanced Excel skills (complex modeling, scenario planning, structured forecasting) Strong understanding of subscription revenue metrics Experience with Salesforce; familiarity with Sage Intacct, Maxio, Power BI, or Tableau is desirable Excellent communication skills and executive presence Ability to work independently in a high-accountability environment Ideal Candidate Built and managed long-term financial models from scratch Led full budgeting and forecasting cycles Comfortable presenting insights to senior management and investors Deep knowledge of SaaS subscription revenue mechanics Experienced in improving reporting processes and financial data systems Combines strategic thinking with hands-on execution Core Technical Skills Advanced Excel financial modeling Integrated three-statement modeling SaaS metrics analysis (ARR, NRR, churn, retention) Forecast vs. actual performance tracking Ownership of budgets and rolling forecasts Data reconciliation across finance and CRM systems Dashboard creation and board-level reporting preparation Working Arrangement and Offer Work from home Company Laptop to be provided Paid Holiday Benefits Work from home Work Location: Remote
