We are building an ambitious AI-powered fintech and PropTech platform for the Philippine market. Our goal is to make it easier for consumers to understand, compare and access home loans, refinancing and property-investment opportunities. We are looking for a highly capable Senior Full-Stack Engineer who wants more than a standard development position—someone who wants substantial technical responsibility, direct influence over the product and the opportunity to grow with the company. The Role As our Senior Full-Stack Engineer, you will be responsible for maintaining, improving and expanding Estra’s existing platform. Although this is not a founding engineer position, the role carries a high level of technical responsibility and product ownership. Your responsibilities will include: Understanding and taking ownership of the existing codebase Building and improving frontend, backend and database functionality Translating business and product requirements into reliable software Implementing complex financial calculations and business rules Diagnosing and resolving issues across the full technology stack Integrating APIs, authentication services, AI models and third-party platforms Improving platform reliability, security, performance and scalability Writing and maintaining automated tests Supporting production deployments and monitoring Establishing strong engineering and documentation standards Contributing to architecture and technical product decisions Reviewing code and supporting future developers Helping build and potentially lead the engineering team as Estra grows You will collaborate directly with Estra’s founders and CTO, but you must be capable of independently investigating problems, proposing practical solutions and shipping production-quality code. Technology Stack Frontend: Next.js and TypeScript Backend: NestJS and TypeScript Database: Supabase and PostgreSQL Integrations: REST APIs, authentication services, AI models and third-party platforms Required Experience You should have strong commercial experience with: Next.js, NestJS and TypeScript PostgreSQL and Supabase REST APIs and third-party integrations Authentication and secure handling of customer data Complex business logic and data-heavy applications Automated testing and production deployments Debugging across frontend, backend and database layers Git-based development workflows Understanding and improving an existing production codebase Making practical technical decisions in an early-stage environment Experience in fintech, banking, lending, PropTech, AI integrations, financial engines or recommendation systems would be highly valuable.
