About The Role We are looking for a talented and detail-oriented Photo Editor to join our remote team. You will be responsible for editing, retouching, enhancing, and preparing high-quality images for digital use while ensuring consistency with our brand and quality standards. This role is ideal for someone with a strong eye for detail, colour, composition, and visual quality who can work independently, manage multiple projects, and consistently meet deadlines. Key Responsibilities Edit and retouch photos using Adobe Photoshop, Lightroom, or similar editing software . Perform colour correction, cropping, exposure adjustments, and overall image enhancement. Remove backgrounds, unwanted objects, blemishes, and other imperfections as required. Resize, compress, and optimise images for websites, social media, and digital marketing. Organise and manage photo files using the company's file management system. Maintain consistent image quality, style, and branding across all edited photos. Follow specific editing guidelines and project requirements. Review completed work for accuracy and quality before submission. Make revisions based on team or client feedback. Manage multiple editing projects and prioritise tasks according to deadlines. Communicate effectively with the team regarding requirements, progress, and any issues. Skills & Experience Proven experience in photo editing, image retouching, or graphic design . Strong proficiency in Adobe Photoshop and/or Lightroom . Strong understanding of colour correction, lighting, composition, and image quality. Excellent attention to detail and consistency. Ability to follow creative briefs and editing guidelines accurately. Strong organisational and file management skills. Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines. Good written and verbal English communication skills. Ability to work independently and efficiently in a remote environment. Advantageous Skills Experience with any of the following will be highly regarded: AI-powered photo editing and enhancement tools such as Adobe Firefly, Generative Fill, Luminar AI, Topaz Photo AI , or similar. Product photography editing. Real estate photography editing. Portrait retouching. Marketing and promotional image editing. Background removal and image compositing. Batch photo processing and workflow optimisation. AI photo editing experience is an advantage but is not required.
