We specialise in providing staff of the highest quality who will continue to exceed your expectations and provide benchmark offshore solutions to your business. With Outsourced you can scale your organisation quickly, easily and cost effectively with dedicated remote staff based in our modern offices in Manila. About the Client Our client is a growing technology-driven campervan and vehicle rental business focused on building scalable systems, automating operations, and continuously improving both customer and internal experiences. The business is progressively developing its own technology ecosystem, with the long-term goal of reducing reliance on third-party platforms and creating a more integrated, automated, and scalable technology environment. About The Role We are looking for a Senior Technical Lead / Technical Product Owner to take ownership of the technical direction and execution of the company's product and technology roadmap. This is a highly autonomous and hands-on technical leadership role spanning software development, system architecture, automation, integrations, DevOps, and technical product ownership . Working closely with the Product Owner/Strategist, you will determine how business and product objectives should be delivered — from selecting the right technologies and designing scalable solutions to developing applications, building automations, managing infrastructure, and ensuring reliable technical execution. The ideal candidate is equally comfortable writing production code, developing low-code/no-code automations, managing infrastructure, reviewing architecture, and challenging technical assumptions when necessary. Key Responsibilities Technical Leadership & Architecture Own the technical architecture and ongoing evolution of the company's technology ecosystem. Translate product requirements and business objectives into practical technical solutions. Evaluate different approaches and recommend appropriate technologies, architectures, and implementation strategies. Make day-to-day technical decisions independently while escalating major architectural or strategic decisions when required. Develop technical plans, solution designs, development approaches, and implementation roadmaps. Ensure solutions are scalable, secure, maintainable, and commercially sensible. Identify technical debt and proactively recommend improvements. Establish development standards, coding practices, documentation, and technical processes. Serve as the senior technical voice in product and technology discussions. Software Development & Integrations Develop and maintain applications, APIs, integrations, automation workflows, and internal tools. Work across traditional software development and low-code/no-code platforms. Select the most appropriate development approach based on the business problem. Build integrations between internal systems, APIs, databases, and third-party platforms. Develop solutions that progressively reduce reliance on legacy and third-party systems. Conduct code reviews and maintain high development quality standards. Troubleshoot complex technical issues and identify root causes. Ensure new functionality is properly tested and documented before deployment. Automation & Low-Code/No-Code Development Design and implement business process automations using platforms such as n8n and GoHighLevel . Identify opportunities to automate repetitive operational and administrative processes. Connect systems, APIs, databases, and third-party services through automation workflows. Determine when low-code/no-code solutions are appropriate and when custom development is required. Continuously improve existing automations for reliability, performance, and scalability. DevOps & Infrastructure Take ownership of core DevOps responsibilities, with support from an existing offshore engineer. Manage and improve development, staging, and production environments. Establish and maintain CI/CD processes. Manage deployments, releases, monitoring, backups, and system reliability. Implement appropriate security, access control, and infrastructure practices. Monitor system performance and proactively address reliability and scalability issues. Establish appropriate logging, alerting, and incident response processes. Work with the offshore engineer to delegate technical tasks and maintain operational continuity. Help establish a robust DevOps foundation as the technology environment grows. Product & Technical Planning Work closely with the Product Owner/Strategist to understand business priorities, customer requirements, and market opportunities. Translate product objectives into technical requirements and implementation plans. Break larger initiatives into manageable technical deliverables. Provide realistic technical estimates, dependencies, risks, and implementation timelines. Challenge requirements where appropriate and identify simpler, more scalable, or cost-effective alternatives. Ensure technical execution remains aligned with the broader product strategy. Technology Environment The current technology ecosystem includes: Rental management platform n8n GoHighLevel Claude Notion Figma Webflow GitHub Slack Trello You do not need to be an expert in every platform above but should be highly adaptable and capable of quickly understanding and integrating new technologies.
