We're seeking a Senior Accounting Quality Review Specialist to serve as a key quality control partner within a growing CPA firm that is committed to operational excellence, client success, and continuous improvement. This is not a traditional accounting production role. Instead, you'll act as a trusted reviewer and advisor, ensuring client accounting work meets the highest standards of accuracy, completeness, documentation, and communication. You'll work closely with the VP of Operations and leadership team to identify trends, strengthen processes, and help drive consistent service delivery across multiple client engagements. What You'll Be Doing Quality Review \& Oversight Conduct monthly, quarterly, and targeted quality reviews for outsourced accounting clients Review financial statements, reconciliations, workpapers, and supporting documentation for accuracy and completeness Assess adherence to internal processes, documentation standards, and communication expectations Evaluate the quality and timeliness of client deliverables Complete review scorecards using established Quality Review frameworks Provide detailed, actionable feedback to delivery teams and leadership Ensure all assigned clients receive required review coverage based on company standards Documentation \& Systems Management Maintain accurate review records across operational systems Track review scores, review dates, reviewer notes, and quality metrics Monitor review schedules and proactively identify overdue reviews Support document retention and process compliance initiatives Collaboration \& Communication Communicate review findings professionally and constructively Partner with Delivery Teams to promote accountability and continuous improvement Collaborate with the VP of Operations on quality concerns and corrective action plans Monitor and respond to quality-related feedback and inquiries Participate in cross-functional discussions to improve client delivery processes Continuous Improvement Identify recurring issues, process gaps, and operational risks Analyze trends and recommend solutions that improve efficiency and consistency Assist in maintaining and enhancing Quality Review procedures, templates, and best practices Help standardize processes across teams and client engagements What We're Looking For Required Qualifications 6–10 years of accounting experience Strong understanding of financial statements, reconciliations, month-end processes, and accounting workflows Experience reviewing accounting work and identifying errors, inconsistencies, or process gaps Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Exceptional attention to detail and organizational ability Ability to communicate findings clearly and professionally Ability to work independently while managing multiple priorities Preferred Qualifications Experience with QuickBooks Online (QBO) Strong Excel skills Experience in outsourced accounting, CAS (Client Accounting Services), public accounting, or CPA firm environments Prior experience performing quality reviews, audit support, compliance reviews, or workflow improvement initiatives Hiring Process To ensure mutual fit and long-term success, qualified candidates will complete: Interview Process (Initial Screening\ Technical Interview \ Culture-Fit Interview\ Client Interview) eSkills Assessment (approximately 45 minutes) QuickBooks Online Assessment (approximately 30 minutes) Practical Accounting Exercise Schedule This position generally follows a Monday–Friday schedule from 3:00 PM to 12:00 AM Philippine Time . Because we support a CPA firm environment, workloads may vary throughout the year. Some weeks may require approximately 35 hours, while others may reach 45 hours. The expectation is to average approximately 40 hours per week while maintaining flexibility to support client needs during peak periods.
