Duties include, but are not limited to: • Responsible for the various tax compliance and planning activities for the various tax clients it will be assigned to • Prepare/Review income tax returns, payments, necessary paperwork, and reports • Prepare/Review income tax returns for corporations form 1120, individuals form 1040, partnerships form 1065, nonprofits form 990, estates and trust form 1041 • Manage and maintain the client’s tax database • Assess and research difficult tax issues to identify solutions • Determine tax savings and recommend strategies to improve profits • Ensure you comply with regulations by forwarding required information to federal, state, and local authorities • Offer support and guidance during audits • Evaluate tax regulations and suggest policies that diminish tax burden • Keep track of industry trends and changes related to taxes • Prepare accurate quarterly and annual tax reports Qualifications • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting. • Certified Public Accountant • Senior level with US tax experience • With excellent background on Corporate Income Tax for various US States • Knowledgeable on Combined State Tax Reporting • Strong attention to detail with excellent analytical skills. • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills. • Knowledge with accounting system like QuickBooks, XERO, MYOB, NetSuite, SAP and others System requirements: • Computer Processor: At least i3 5th generation for both primary and back up computers • Computer Memory/RAM: At least 8.00 GB for both primary and back up computers • Computer OS: Windows 10 • Extra Monitor • Microsoft Office License • Internet speed must be running on a 20+ Mbps wired plan (at least 10 Mbps for back up connection)
