Review events detected by the client’s platform to identify those that are operationally or navigationally significant. Help CSM create lists of interesting events to be shared with clients. Flag false positives and borderline cases to continuously improve event accuracy and data quality. Provide maritime and navigational insights to the Customer Success team when analyzing customer cases or preparing executive reviews. Partner with Product and Data teams to guide product decisions from a seafaring and safety perspective. QA features from a maritime perspective. Participate in internal projects that require maritime or navigational expertise - from data validation to content creation and operational analysis. Contribute to defining best practices, labeling standards, and operational taxonomies for safety events. Serve as an internal point of reference for maritime procedures, regulations, and bridge operations Requirements Former Officer / Chief Officer / Master Mariner on commercial vessels. Deep understanding of navigation, COLREGS, bridge operations, and maritime safety protocols. Excellent communication skills and comfort working with non-maritime stakeholders (product managers, data scientists, customer success managers). Ability to explain complex maritime situations clearly and objectively. Passion for applying maritime expertise in a technology-driven environment. Fluent in English (written and spoken); additional languages a plus. Maritime-related academic degree or certification — advantage.
