Position Overview We are seeking an experienced SEO, GEO, and AEO Specialist who excels at traditional search optimization and understands the future of AI-powered search. You will manage and scale our organic visibility across Google Search, AI search engines, and answer engines (including ChatGPT, Gemini, Claude, Perplexity, and Google AI Overviews). Key Responsibilities 1. Multi-Engine Search Optimization (SEO / GEO / AEO) Traditional SEO: Develop end-to-end SEO strategies, execute technical audits, optimize site architecture, improve Core Web Vitals, and manage internal linking/backlink strategies. Generative Engine Optimization (GEO): Create AI-friendly content, build topical authority, structure content for LLM retrieval, optimize entities/knowledge graphs, and maximize AI citation opportunities. Answer Engine Optimization (AEO): Structure content to capture featured snippets, optimize FAQ pages, target "People Also Ask" boxes, and improve zero-click search visibility. 2. Content Strategy & Analytics Design and execute SEO content calendars using pillar pages and topic clusters aligned with EEAT practices. Monitor, analyze, and provide monthly reports on organic traffic, keyword rankings, AI engine discoverability, citations, and technical site health. Required Skills & Qualifications Experience: 3+ years of SEO experience (5+ years preferred), with proven exposure to GEO and AEO strategies. Core Knowledge: Deep understanding of semantic search, search intent, Knowledge Graphs, and Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) concepts. Technical Proficiency: Strong command of structured data (JSON-LD Schema) and website management (WordPress, Shopify, Webflow). Tool Stack Mastery (Experience with a selection of the following is required): SEO: Ahrefs, Semrush, Screaming Frog, Google Search Console, GA4. AI / Content: ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, Perplexity, Surfer SEO/AI, MarketMuse. Analytics: Looker Studio, PageSpeed Insights, Lighthouse, Microsoft Clarity. Preferred Qualifications Background in Ecommerce, B2B, or SaaS SEO. Familiarity with Python, SQL, or automation tools for SEO workflows. Portfolio Requirements Applicants must provide a portfolio or case studies demonstrating: Measurable organic traffic growth and keyword ranking improvements. Examples of AI search visibility, won featured snippets, and AI citations (e.g., Perplexity, ChatGPT, Google AI Overviews). Sample technical SEO audits or analytics dashboards.
