You will be joining Dotplan , a Philippines-based professional services and delivery company supporting AGC Interior and its business operations. Dotplan provides remote capability across administration, HR, marketing, design, estimating, sales, operations, automation, and business systems, with a strong focus on clear processes, reliable execution, and Australia-aligned working standards. About The Role We are looking for an experienced AppSheet Developer – P5 who can independently take ownership of the design, development, improvement, and ongoing maintenance of complex business applications used across Dotplan and AGC Interior. This is a higher-level development role for someone capable of handling end-to-end AppSheet application development with limited guidance . You will be expected to understand business requirements, design appropriate data structures and application architecture, develop workflows and automations, troubleshoot complex issues, integrate business systems, and deliver maintainable solutions from initial requirement through testing and deployment. The successful candidate should be able to independently manage development outcomes while working closely with management and different departments across the organisation. Key Responsibilities Independently design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain Google AppSheet applications. Take ownership of end-to-end AppSheet development projects. Develop new business applications and significantly enhance existing systems. Design scalable relational data structures, table relationships, Ref columns, and application architecture. Configure complex AppSheet expressions, Actions, Bots, workflows, security rules, slices, dashboards, forms, and role-based views. Translate business requirements and operational processes into practical system solutions. Build and maintain integrations with Google Workspace, Google Sheets, Google Drive, Apps Script, APIs, webhooks, and other business systems where required. Troubleshoot complex application, automation, data, permission, and integration issues. Review existing AppSheet applications and identify opportunities to improve performance, usability, security, structure, and maintainability. Ensure appropriate access controls and data-security practices are applied. Test and validate all system changes before implementation. Maintain clear technical documentation, data structures, workflows, development decisions, and system changes. Provide practical recommendations to management regarding application architecture and process automation. Coordinate with internal departments to understand requirements and resolve system issues. Use AI-assisted development tools to support development, troubleshooting, testing, scripting, documentation, and technical research. Independently review and validate all AI-generated expressions, scripts, workflow logic, and technical solutions before implementation. Requirements Strong hands-on experience developing applications using Google AppSheet . Proven experience independently developing and deploying complete AppSheet applications. Strong knowledge of: AppSheet expressions and formulas Actions and Automation Bots Relational tables and Ref relationships Slices and role-based views Security filters and user access Forms and data validation Dashboards and reporting File and image handling Strong understanding of relational data structures and database principles. Strong Google Workspace and Google Sheets experience. Experience with Google Apps Script, APIs, webhooks, JSON, or other system integrations is highly desirable. Ability to troubleshoot complex technical and workflow issues independently. Strong analytical and problem-solving capability. Ability to understand business processes and translate them into practical technical solutions. Strong attention to application structure, maintainability, security, and data integrity. Good written and spoken English communication skills. Ability to communicate technical concepts clearly to non-technical stakeholders. Ability to manage development priorities and deliver outcomes with limited supervision. AI-Assisted Development Practical experience using AI-assisted development tools such as OpenAI Codex, ChatGPT, Claude, GitHub Copilot, Cursor, or similar platforms is highly regarded. Candidates should be able to demonstrate how they use AI tools to: Support AppSheet development and troubleshooting. Develop and review expressions, formulas, Apps Script, JSON, and API integrations. Analyse technical issues and identify possible solutions. Improve testing and documentation. Accelerate development without compromising quality. Candidates must be able to independently verify, test, and refine AI-generated solutions rather than relying on AI output without validation . The company will provide access to required AI development tools where applicable. Candidates are not required to maintain their own paid AI subscriptions. Work Arrangement Full-time remote / work-from-home position. Monthly salary of ₱47,000 – ₱62,000 , depending on experience and capability. Three-day paid trial as part of the recruitment process. Must provide your own reliable desktop or laptop capable of AppSheet development and related work. Reliable high-speed internet connection required. Backup internet connection is highly preferred. Must be available and responsive during agreed working hours aligned with the Australian team. Willing to work under video monitoring during working hours for accountability and productivity purposes. Able to work independently while maintaining consistent communication with management and internal stakeholders. What We Are Looking For We are looking for someone who can own development outcomes , not simply follow individual AppSheet tasks. The ideal candidate can receive a business requirement, determine the appropriate technical approach, build and test the solution, identify risks or limitations, document the system, and independently progress the development with minimal supervision. Experience building internal operational systems such as CRM, project management, HR, administration, timesheets, task management, workflow automation, client portals, or similar business applications will be highly regarded.
