Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Accounting/Bookkeeping Assistant to support a growing cleaning and janitorial services company based in Canada. In this role, you will help keep the company’s financial records accurate and organized. You will handle day-to-day bookkeeping tasks, process invoices and payments, reconcile bank and credit card transactions, assist with payroll information, and support monthly financial reporting. You will be working with tools such as Xero or similar accounting software , along with Google Workspace and Microsoft Office. This role requires someone who is detail-oriented, organized, reliable, and comfortable working remotely with a distributed team. You will also help maintain vendor and customer records, monitor outstanding payments, prepare financial documents, and coordinate with payroll providers when needed. Since the company is based in Canada, experience with Canadian payroll or employment standards is highly preferred. This role is best for someone who has solid bookkeeping experience, can manage multiple tasks carefully, communicates well in English, and can work independently during the required schedule. Rate: $6.00 per hour Schedule Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM MST / 9:00 PM to 6:00 AM Philippine Time Hours: 40 hours per week Pay: Php60,000.00 - Php62,000.00 per month Benefits Additional leave Company Christmas gift Company events Health insurance Paid training Pay raise Work from home Application Question(s): Years of experience working as a Freelancer or as a Virtual Assistant (DO NOT include any time spent working from home due to the pandemic if your role was originally office-based.)
