Job Description • Mid-Senior SQL Developer & Business Intelligence Specialist. In this hybrid role, person will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining complex SQL databases and queries, with a strong emphasis on T-SQL. Additionally, he/she will create and manage BI solutions to support data-driven decision-making processes across the organization, with a specific focus on leveraging cloud technologies, particularly AWS • · Design, develop, and maintain complex SQL queries, stored procedures, triggers, and functions using T-SQL. • · Optimize database performance and ensure the efficient operation of our SQL servers. • · Strong understanding of how the SQL Server database engine works - including but not limited to: Physical storage, indexing, physical database design best practices & Query optimization • · Normalization, Creation of OLTP & OLAP databases • · Development, optimize stored procedures • · Well versed with Memory optimized table, Query Store, Column store Indexes, table portioning • · Collaborate with software developers to design and implement database structures that meet business requirements. • · Troubleshoot and resolve database-related issues in a timely manner. • · Help perform in data migrations and integrations between different systems. • · Familiarity with reporting tools (e.g., SSRS, Power BI, Tableau) Qualifications • · Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field. • · Minimum of 5 years of experience in SQL development and database management. • · Strong understanding of database design principles and best practices. • · Proficiency in writing and optimizing complex T-SQL queries. • · Experience with ETL processes and tools. • · Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. • · Strong communication skills with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams. • · Proven experience with BI tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or similar platforms. • · Experience with AWS services such as RDS, Redshift, S3, and Lambda. • · Knowledge of cloud-based databases and data warehousing solutions. Preferred Qualifications • · Knowledge of Navitaire ODS Database, Expert in writing optimized queries on Workbench if needed. • · Understanding of Frontend/middleware technologies like Angular /Csharp is a bonus. Key Competencies: • · Excellent communication, Airline domain experience, Sound knowledge in DB design and experience working for Realtime systems
