Job Description

Our client has been running e-commerce directly while scaling the business. That approach has reached its limit. We need an experienced E-Commerce Manager in place within weeks — not months — to take operational ownership of the four stores and free the CEO to focus on partnerships, channel growth, and brand direction. If you are available to start within 2–4 weeks, please flag this in your application. About The Role You will own the day-to-day performance and growth of all four Shopify stores. You will set the e-commerce strategy, manage the digital team, own the reporting rhythm, and be accountable for revenue, conversion, and customer acquisition across the group. You will work closely with our Marketing Activation Lead (design), Digital Marketing Coordinator (content and channels), and Shopify Developer (technical implementation). You will report directly to the Founder and CEO and present weekly performance reviews. What You'll Own E-commerce strategy across all four Shopify stores — growth planning, merchandising strategy, promotional calendar, and cross-store positioning Revenue, traffic, conversion rate, and AOV across all four stores — owned as weekly and monthly KPIs Google Ads and Meta Ads performance — ROAS management, budget allocation, campaign strategy (executed by the Digital Marketing Coordinator) SEO strategy and execution across all stores, with particular focus on digitaldoorlocks.com.au Email and SMS marketing strategy — flows, campaigns, list growth, retention performance Site performance and user experience — working with the Shopify Developer on landing pages, product pages, and checkout optimisation Product listings, merchandising, and inventory alignment with the Accounts team Weekly e-commerce performance report to the CEO with clear commentary and recommended actions Management of the digital team rhythm — daily standups, weekly planning, clear brief handover to designers and developers What We're Looking For Minimum 5 years' e-commerce management experience, with at least 3 years on Shopify (multi-store experience is a strong plus) Proven track record of growing e-commerce revenue — you can point to specific results, numbers, and the levers you pulled Strong hands-on experience with Google Ads and Meta Ads — you know what good ROAS looks like and how to diagnose when it's not working Solid understanding of SEO fundamentals — keyword research, on-page optimisation, content strategy Experience managing a small team or working cross-functionally with designers, developers, and content creators Strong analytical mindset — comfortable in GA4, Shopify analytics, and ad platform dashboards; able to turn data into decisions Excellent written and spoken English — you will be presenting directly to an Australian founder and his leadership team Reliable home internet connection (minimum 25 Mbps) and a professional remote working setup Available for at least 4 hours of daily overlap with Australian Eastern Standard Time Nice to Have Experience with Klaviyo, Omnisend, or similar email platforms Experience with Shopify apps ecosystems (PageFly, Judge.me, bundle apps, subscription apps) Experience in consumer electronics, smart home, or home improvement categories Previous experience working with or for Australian, UK, or US businesses What We Offer A permanent full-time role with a stable, profitable Australian business Genuine ownership — this is a leadership role with authority over strategy and team Direct access to the Founder and CEO — weekly 1:1s, clear decision-making, no corporate layers A supportive team across Australia and the Philippines The opportunity to shape the e-commerce function of a growing premium brand portfolio How To Apply Apply directly through Indeed with your CV.
