Job Summary We are looking for an Industrial RFQ / Procurement Sourcing Specialist to help source oil & gas, refinery, and industrial equipment from manufacturers and suppliers worldwide. This is not a general purchasing position. The ideal candidate must be comfortable working with technical RFQs, part numbers, datasheets, model numbers, industrial spare parts, and supplier quotations. Main Responsibilities: Review RFQs for industrial, oil & gas, refinery, and technical equipment. Understand item descriptions, part numbers, brand names, model numbers, and datasheets. Identify suitable manufacturers, authorized distributors, and reliable suppliers. Send RFQs to suppliers and follow up for price, availability, lead time, datasheets, country of origin, warranty, and technical documents. Compare supplier offers and confirm they match the customer’s technical requirements. Help identify obsolete parts and possible equivalent alternatives. Request photos, certificates, datasheets, and product documentation when needed. Maintain RFQ tracking sheets with supplier status, pricing, lead time, and notes. Communicate professionally with suppliers by email and phone. Flag unclear items or technical issues before submitting an offer. Industry Experience Preferred: Oil & gas equipment Refinery spare parts Industrial MRO supplies Pumps, valves, seals, gaskets, filters, bearings, analyzers, burners, motors, electrical parts, safety equipment, chemicals, or mechanical components International sourcing and supplier communication Manufacturer and distributor follow-up Required Skills: Experience sourcing industrial or technical products Strong understanding of RFQs, POs, lead times, datasheets, and supplier quotes Good written English Strong attention to detail Ability to search for parts using part numbers, brands, and descriptions Good Excel or Google Sheets skills Ability to manage many RFQs at the same time Important: Candidates with only retail purchasing, office supply purchasing, Amazon/e-commerce buying, food purchasing, or general admin experience may not be suitable unless they have strong industrial or technical sourcing experience.
