Compensation & Benefits Competitive hourly pay: PHP 160 – 260 per hour Approximately PHP 26,669 to PHP 43,337 monthly for a full-time schedule. This monthly estimate is based on a 50-week working year (4.167 weeks per month equivalent) for consistent full-time payroll computation. How pay is computed: Hourly rate × 40 hours/week × 4.167 weeks/month Example: PHP 260/hour × 40 hours/week × 4.167 weeks/month \= PHP 43,337/month Paid overtime: All approved overtime hours are fully compensated based on your hourly rate (no unpaid overtime). About The Role We are looking for an experienced Associate Software Engineer who will be responsible for writing code, analyzing data, and contributing to the design and implementation of our web sites. You will be working with a team in creating, improving, maintaining, and updating the code. In order to succeed in this role, you will need to be proficient in PHP, MySQL, JavaScript, jQuery, and Bootstrap and have solid knowledge and experience in programming Web applications. Job Responsibilities Design, develop, and maintain dynamic web applications using PHP, MySQL, JavaScript, jQuery, and Bootstrap. Implement and maintain MVC frameworks. Manage hosting, domains, and DNS configurations using platforms like GoDaddy and A2 Hosting. Utilize Git for version control and collaboration within a team environment. Deploy and manage files efficiently using FileZilla and other FTP tools. Integrate Twilio APIs for communication functionalities such as SMS Work with other APIs, including QBO API, to enhance system functionality. Optimize application performance, including database queries and server-side processes. Manage applications in virtual environments like Microsoft Azure. Maintain a strong commitment to ethical conduct, teamwork, and delivering high-quality solutions. Stay current with emerging technologies to innovate and improve development practices. Requirements Proficiency in MySQL, PHP, JavaScript, jQuery, and Bootstrap. Experience with MVC frameworks such as Laravel or CodeIgniter. Familiarity with GoDaddy and A2 Hosting for domain and hosting management. Hands-on experience with Git for version control. Proficiency in using FileZilla and other FTP tools for deployment. Understanding and experience in working with Twilio APIs. A strong sense of integrity, responsibility, and good moral character. Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well in a team. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment. Nice to Have (Preferred) Experience with Microsoft Azure and virtual machine management. Familiarity with QBO API and other third-party API integrations. Knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies. Experience optimizing hosting configurations for performance. A proactive attitude and a willingness to take on new challenges.
