Work Setup: Remote Hours: 20 hours per week Schedule Australian Time Zone Employment Type: Part-Time Job Overview We are looking for a Senior E-commerce / Shopify Specialist to manage, optimize, and improve Shopify stores. The ideal candidate has strong hands-on Shopify experience, understands e-commerce growth strategies, and can handle both store operations and technical requirements. Key Responsibilities Manage Shopify stores, including products, collections, pricing, inventory, and website content. Develop strategies to increase online sales, conversions, and overall store performance. Customize and maintain Shopify themes, apps, integrations, and store settings. Monitor site performance and resolve technical issues affecting the customer experience. Maintain product listings, descriptions, images, SEO, and online merchandising. Analyze sales, traffic, conversion, and customer data to identify growth opportunities. Work closely with marketing, design, customer service, and other teams on e-commerce projects. Configure and optimize Shopify features, payment gateways, third-party apps, and other e-commerce tools. Keep up with Shopify updates, e-commerce trends, and industry best practices. Lead or assist with store improvements, migrations, and other e-commerce projects. Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior team members when needed. Qualifications At least 3 years of hands-on experience with Shopify or other e-commerce platforms. Strong knowledge of Shopify Admin, themes, apps, integrations, and store configuration. Shopify Plus experience is an advantage. Solid understanding of e-commerce operations, CRO, SEO, and online merchandising. Experience using Shopify Analytics, Google Analytics, or similar platforms. Basic knowledge of HTML, CSS, Liquid, and JavaScript is highly preferred. Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving abilities. Excellent attention to detail and ability to handle multiple priorities. Strong communication and teamwork skills. Able to work independently and take ownership of assigned projects. Experience leading projects or mentoring team members is an advantage. Good understanding of current e-commerce trends and practices.
