Your Key Responsibilities Trust Account Management: Process daily tenant receipting, manage direct debits, execute landlord payouts, handle EFT payments, and securely process all bond transactions. Reconciliations & Financial Reporting: Perform accurate daily and monthly trust account reconciliations, maintain precise ledger updates, and generate comprehensive weekly financial reports. General Bookkeeping & Compliance: Drive broader business operations by overseeing the general ledger, assisting with BAS (Business Activity Statement) preparation, and executing seamless EOM (End of Month) and EOFY (End of Financial Year) processes. Payroll Administration: Manage fundamental internal payroll workflows, track employee hours accurately, and disburse expenses. The Tech Stack Trust & Property Software: PropertyMe, Property Tree, VaultRE, Console Cloud, Salesforce, AILO. Accounting & Payroll Systems: Xero, MYOB, QuickBooks. Educational Background: A Degree or Diploma in Accountancy, Finance, or a related discipline is highly advantageous. What We Are Looking For Proven Experience: A solid 3+ years of dedicated experience navigating Australian Real Estate Trust Accounting regulations and compliance standards. Financial Acumen: Deep familiarity with Australian financial terminology and procedures, including BAS, GST, EOFY, Bond Lodgements, and Disbursals. Bookkeeping Foundation: Practical, hands-on experience handling mid-level general bookkeeping and payroll processes. Professional Integrity: Uncompromising discretion, strict adherence to financial integrity, and a laser-sharp attention to detail.
