About The Role We are hiring a creative Social Media Manager to help grow an Australian online flooring business. This role is focused on brand building, social media, content, simple lead funnels, and helping the owners make confident marketing decisions. SEO and paid ads are not the main focus at the start, the priority is building real connections through honest, consistent marketing. Key Responsibilities Explain marketing plans, results, and decisions clearly to the owners Create and post short-form content, including Reels and TikToks Showcase products, customer stories, renovations, and brand personality Build a consistent brand voice and visual style across all channels Plan content around promotions, seasons, launches, and key stories Create simple funnels, email sign-ups, welcome offers, and follow-up sequences Grow social media through consistent, trust-building content Collect and promote reviews, testimonials, and social proof Explore paid ads in future once brand foundations are in place Work closely with the owners on practical, executable marketing ideas What We’re Looking For Minimum 5 years of marketing experience, ideally with small or growing businesses Creative, proactive, practical, and able to work independently Strong plain-English communicator who listens and understands the business Experience creating social media content, especially Reels, TikToks, and short-form video Strong understanding of brand building, content planning, and customer engagement Comfortable with simple lead funnels, email lists, and follow-up systems Honest, reliable, and able to flag what is or isn’t working Able to bring ideas and execute them without overcomplicating things Interest in homes, interiors, flooring, renovation, or construction is highly regarded Paid ads experience is helpful but not the main focus at the start
