Compensation $1,500 - $2,500 USD / month (depending on experience) The Role: Stubble Suede is looking for a highly technical, conversion-focused video editor to serve as our core creative engine. You will be responsible for producing, cutting, and iterating on direct-response video ads for Meta and Instagram. You won't just be editing; you will be leveraging the latest AI video tools to drastically speed up production and iterating based on automated feedback loops from our custom Gemini analytics pipeline. Core Responsibilities: Direct-Response Editing: Edit high-velocity short-form video ads optimized specifically for Meta and Instagram, focusing heavily on the first 3-second visual hooks, pacing, and retention. AI Tool Mastery: Utilize cutting-edge AI software (such as Higgsfield AI for cinematic camera-controlled generation, Runway, ElevenLabs, or advanced features in CapCut/Premiere) to generate high-quality product assets, dynamic visual hooks, and multiply creative variations in record time. Modular Creative Production: Build a library of modular video assets (hooks, bodies, calls-to-action) that can be seamlessly swapped and A/B tested to find winning combinations. Data-Backed Adjustments: Take raw performance data and feedback from our Creative Strategist (and our AI analytics tools) to instantly recut and improve underperforming ads. Platform Expertise: Ensure all creatives strictly adhere to Meta's best practices, including aspect ratios, mobile-first design, safe zones, and audio trends. What We Are Looking For: A strong portfolio composed entirely of high-converting paid social ads (specifically Meta/IG), not just narrative or cinematic filmmaking. Deep fluency in modern non-linear editing software alongside a proven track record of integrating generative AI into your daily workflow. An understanding of direct-response marketing psychology—knowing exactly why a video makes someone stop scrolling, combined with the technical skill to execute it. Ability to work closely with a Creative Strategist to bring their briefs and scripts to life accurately and quickly.
