Role Description We are seeking an experienced BIM Manager with strong Australian Building Services knowledge to create, coordinate, and maintain Revit BIM models across Mechanical, Hydraulic, Electrical, and Fire services. The successful candidate will support engineers from concept through to construction documentation across Residential, Commercial, Industrial, and Education projects. Previous Australian Building Services experience is essential — this is a technically demanding role requiring a highly proficient Revit operator who is organised, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple concurrent projects independently. The role is part-time at 25 hours per week, working Wednesday to Friday (preferred) aligned to Sydney business hours. Role Details Position BIM Manager — Building Services Hours 25 hours per week (part-time) — Wednesday to Friday preferred, Sydney business hours Location Remote — Philippines based Industry Building Services Engineering — Mechanical, Hydraulic, Electrical & Fire Services Platform Autodesk Revit (essential), AutoCAD (limited support ~5–10%), Microsoft Office Suite Project Types Residential, Commercial, Industrial & Education Working Hours Wednesday to Friday preferred — Sydney business hours Reporting To Engineering Team / Project Lead Key Responsibilities Revit BIM Modelling & Coordination • Create and maintain Revit BIM models across Mechanical, Hydraulic, Electrical, and Fire building services • Coordinate multidisciplinary models and perform clash detection to identify and resolve conflicts across service disciplines • Maintain BIM standards and model consistency throughout all project stages from concept to construction documentation • Produce Revit documentation, schedules, and drawing packages to a high standard in accordance with Australian project requirements • Track revisions and liaise with engineers to ensure models accurately reflect design intent and current documentation Documentation, Standards & General Support • Assist with tender and construction documentation, ensuring drawing packages are complete, accurate, and issued on time • Provide limited AutoCAD support (~5–10%) as required for specific project documentation needs • Ensure compliance with Australian Standards and client-specific BIM protocols and documentation requirements • Manage multiple concurrent projects, prioritising workload effectively to meet deadlines across the engineering team • Support engineers across all project stages and maintain a high standard of model coordination and documentation quality Skills & Experience Required • Previous experience as a BIM Manager, BIM Coordinator, or Building Services Revit Technician — essential • Highly proficient in Autodesk Revit — able to create, coordinate, and maintain complex multidisciplinary BIM models • Strong knowledge of Australian Building Services across Mechanical, Hydraulic, Electrical, and Fire disciplines • Experience working across Residential, Commercial, Industrial, and Education project types • Ability to perform clash detection and coordinate models across multiple building services disciplines • Excellent organisational skills — able to manage multiple concurrent projects and liaise effectively with engineers • Technically strong, proactive, and detail-oriented with a high standard of BIM documentation output Desirable • Experience producing tender and construction documentation packages for Australian building services engineering projects • Familiarity with AutoCAD for supplementary 2D documentation support • Background supporting a building services engineering consultancy across multiple project types simultaneously • Understanding of Australian Standards relevant to Mechanical, Hydraulic, Electrical, and Fire services documentation • Previous remote BIM Manager or Revit Technician experience supporting an Australian engineering consultancy
