We are seeking an experienced Senior QuickBooks Online Implementation Specialist to independently set up, structure, and manage a QuickBooks Online environment. The role requires hands-on experience with QuickBooks implementation, project and cost accounting, inventory, landed-cost allocation, and financial reporting. The successful candidate will establish the accounting structure, migrate historical data, implement appropriate workflows, and support ongoing accounting activities. This role requires strong technical judgment, attention to detail, resourcefulness, and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision. We are looking for the following specific requirements Advanced hands-on experience with QuickBooks Online. Experience establishing and structuring a Chart of Accounts. Experience with QuickBooks Projects and/or Class tracking. Strong project and cost accounting experience. Experience with project-level Profit & Loss reporting. Strong inventory and cost accounting experience. Experience with import/export accounting and landed cost allocation. Knowledge of deferred revenue and revenue recognition. Experience migrating financial data from Excel into QuickBooks Online. Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting. Strong research, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills. Your responsibilities will include (but are not limited to): Set up and configure QuickBooks Online from scratch. Establish and structure the Chart of Accounts. Configure project and class tracking. Establish project-level cost tracking and Profit & Loss reporting. Set up inventory and cost accounting processes. Establish landed cost allocation processes. Set up appropriate workflows for deferred revenue and revenue recognition. Migrate and validate historical financial and project data from Excel into QuickBooks Online. Validate the setup to ensure project costs and profitability are being captured accurately. Establish clear and consistent QuickBooks accounting workflows. Support ongoing QuickBooks accounting activities following implementation. Independently troubleshoot and resolve QuickBooks setup and workflow issues.
