Job Description

Job Description We are seeking a detail-oriented and client-focused Receptionist / Administrative Assistant to support an Australian conveyancing law firm . This role requires strong communication skills, confidence in handling inbound and outbound calls , and the ability to manage administrative tasks in a fast-paced, client-driven environment. You will serve as the first point of contact for clients , ensuring a professional and seamless experience while supporting legal and administrative operations. Key Responsibilities Handle inbound and outbound calls professionally, including screening, directing inquiries, and providing accurate information to clients Open new client matters and maintain accurate electronic and physical files Prepare standard correspondence, letters, and legal documents (e.g., Costs Agreements) Perform data entry, document formatting, and file management Coordinate schedules, appointments, and general office activities Liaise with clients and external parties in a professional manner Provide administrative support to lawyers and the broader team as needed Qualifications Hold a university degree (any discipline considered) At least 6 months – 1 year experience in: Receptionist / Admin role OR Call Center / BPO (voice account) Strong verbal and written communication skills – must be confident and professional on the phone Experience in customer service, call handling, or international client-facing roles (AU/US) is an advantage Proficient in Microsoft Office and general office systems High attention to detail, with strong organizational and multitasking skills Ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines Professional, discreet, and client-focused approach Willingness to work onsite APPLICATION INSTRUCTIONS: Interested applicants may send their updated resume along with a 1–2 minute voice recording (self-introduction) to: recruitment@getlegaltech.com The voice recording should highlight your background, communication skills, and interest in the role.
