Responsibilities · Manage mechanical scopes for building fit-out, renovation, laboratory, office, utility, and facility from design review through testing, commissioning, and turnover. · Review mechanical plans, specifications, Bills of Quantities, equipment schedules, shop drawings, method statements, material submittals, and vendor proposals. · Verify site conditions, utility connection points, equipment access, ceiling clearances, routing, constructability, maintainability, and interfaces with architectural, structural, electrical, controls, and civil works. · Coordinate contractors, consultants, end users, safety personnel, and facility operations teams to resolve technical and scheduling issues. · Prepare project scopes of work, technical specifications, cost estimates, material take-offs, work schedules, progress reports, punch lists, and turnover documentation. · Conduct regular site inspections and verify that installations comply with approved drawings, specifications, manufacturer requirements, applicable codes, and company standards. · Review RFIs, field changes, variation orders, as-built drawings, operation and maintenance manuals, warranties, test certificates, and training records. · Support testing, adjusting and balancing, pressure and leakage testing, flushing, disinfection, functional performance testing, equipment start-up, commissioning, and systems turnover. Technical Scope Qualification · Chilled Water Systems: Review and supervise chilled water supply and return piping, pumps, valves, strainers, balancing devices, controls, insulation, supports, flushing, hydrostatic testing, balancing, and connection to AHUs, FCUs, and other cooling equipment. · HVAC and Ducting: Review and supervise AHUs, FCUs, MAUs, ventilation and exhaust systems, smoke extraction, supply/return/exhaust ductwork, dampers, diffusers, grilles, insulation, access provisions, vibration isolation, duct leakage testing, airflow measurement, and testing and balancing. · Plumbing and Sanitary: Review and supervise domestic water, sanitary drainage, vent, condensate drain, sump, pump, fixture, and specialty piping installations, including pressure tests, slope checks, flushing, disinfection, and functional tests. · Fire Protection: Review and supervise sprinkler, standpipe, hose cabinet, hydrant, fire pump, jockey pump, valve, drain, and test connection works; coordinate fire and smoke dampers and system interfaces with fire detection and alarm systems. · Fit-Out Coordination: Ensure mechanical services are properly coordinated above ceilings, within shafts, and through walls and floors, including sleeves, supports, access panels, fire stopping, equipment clearances, and architectural finishes. Qualifications · 5 years of experience as Mechanical Site Engineer · Registered Mechanical Engineer · Analytical skills · Interpret plans and specifications · Knowledgeable to mechanical standards · Works under pressure. · With COSH and LCM · Can create 8D and RCA · BMS and Controls not required but an advantage Job Types: Full-time, Permanent Benefits Transportation service provided Work Location: Remote
