Role Overview We are seeking an experienced Construction Materials Sourcing & Procurement Agent to identify, evaluate, and manage suppliers of construction materials and building products throughout China and Vietnam. The successful candidate will be responsible for sourcing high-quality products, negotiating pricing, obtaining technical documentation, conducting factory inspections, coordinating quality control, and managing shipments to Ireland. The role will support the procurement of materials for residential housing developments and will focus on achieving cost savings while ensuring products meet Irish and European standards. Key Responsibilities Identify and evaluate manufacturers and suppliers throughout China and Vietnam. Top Note: o The successful candidate must be willing to travel to China and Vietnam as required by the role. o Prior experience working or sourcing in either country would be a significant advantage. o The candidate should be confident in independently arranging meetings and conducting negotiations with manufacturers and suppliers. o Proficiency in Chinese (Mandarin) or Vietnamese is not required; however, it would be considered a strong advantage. o Source new suppliers for construction materials and building products. Technical Documentation & Compliance Obtain product specifications and technical data sheets. Collect CE documentation, Declarations of Performance (DoPs), test reports, and certifications. Verify compliance with Irish and European requirements. Maintain records of all supplier certifications and compliance documentation. Coordinate with company architects, engineers, and consultants regarding technical requirements. Factory Audits & Quality Control Conduct factory visits and supplier assessments. Verify manufacturing capabilities and production standards. What to Offer: Starting salary: $5 per hour based on your experience.
