Job Description

Responsibilities • Set up, manage, and optimize SEO campaigns, including conducting technical audits and providing strategic recommendations • Conduct comprehensive keyword research to identify content opportunities and improve search rankings • Develop and execute on-page and off-page SEO strategies, including link-building and outreach initiatives • Write and optimize SEO-friendly content for product pages, category pages, blogs, and marketing materials • Manage and optimize Google Ads campaigns, including ad groups, keywords, bids, and budgets • Manage Google Merchant Center and optimize product feed data and metadata • Track and analyze SEO and SEM performance using Google Analytics, Google Search Console, and SEO tools such as SEMrush or Ahrefs • Improve conversion rates by optimizing landing pages and ad copy • Build and optimize visibility across AI search platforms, including ChatGPT, Gemini, and similar technologies • Collaborate with the broader marketing team to develop content and assets that support the overall digital strategy • Produce monthly performance reports and analyses while monitoring search engine algorithm and platform updates • Goals & What Success Looks Like • Position the website as an authoritative and trusted source in generic (non-branded) Google search results • Increase high-quality organic website traffic by a measurable percentage • Increase organic revenue generated through the website by a measurable percentage • Improve rankings for non-branded search terms to support approximately 1,000 new product launches annually • Strengthen search rankings across wholesale and retail channels to improve conversions • Improve top-, middle-, and bottom-of-funnel performance through effective search strategies and optimized site architecture • Align SEO initiatives with broader business objectives in partnership with the Ecommerce Manager and Strategic Marketing Executive • Help develop and execute the digital PR strategy to build brand authority and earn high-quality backlinks • About the Client • Our client is an established Australian consumer brand with nearly six decades of success in designing and delivering innovative lifestyle, home, gifting, and everyday products.
