Finance and Accounting Manager (Work From Home) - Preference will be given to candidates based in or near Metro Manila - Immediate Start Preferred Cliniqon is seeking an experienced Finance and Accounting Manager to oversee the company's financial operations, accounting functions, tax compliance, payroll administration, and financial reporting. This role is ideal for a highly analytical and results-driven finance professional with strong leadership capabilities and extensive knowledge of Philippine accounting and tax regulations. We are prioritizing candidates who are based in or around Metro Manila and are available to start as soon as possible. While this is a permanent Work-From-Home role, occasional in-person meetings or business-related activities may be required. As a key member of the leadership team, you will provide strategic financial insights that support business growth, operational efficiency, and regulatory compliance. Responsibilities Lead and manage all accounting and finance operations, including general accounting, accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, treasury, and financial reporting Ensure timely and accurate preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements Oversee tax compliance and reporting, including VAT, Withholding Taxes, Income Tax, and all BIR-related requirements Ensure compliance with Philippine Financial Reporting Standards (PFRS/IFRS) and applicable government regulations Manage payroll processing and statutory contributions, including SSS, PhilHealth, Pag-IBIG, and related remittances and filings Coordinate and maintain compliance with government agencies such as BIR, SEC, LGUs, SSS, PhilHealth, and Pag-IBIG Develop financial forecasts, budgets, cash flow projections, and management reports Analyze financial performance and provide recommendations to improve profitability and operational efficiency Lead, mentor, and develop the accounting team to ensure high performance and continuous growth Strengthen internal controls, financial policies, and accounting procedures Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support business objectives and strategic initiatives Requirements Bachelor's Degree in Accountancy, Finance, or a related field CPA license is highly preferred but not required Minimum of 5–8 years of progressive experience in Finance and Accounting At least 2–3 years of experience in a managerial or supervisory role Proven experience leading accounting teams and managing end-to-end accounting operations Strong knowledge of Philippine accounting standards (PFRS/IFRS) Extensive experience with Philippine tax compliance, including VAT, Withholding Taxes, Income Tax, and BIR reporting Familiarity with the TRAIN Law, Ease of Paying Taxes (EOPT) Law, and other local regulatory requirements Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks (QuickBooks Certification or ProAdvisor status is an advantage) Advanced Excel skills, including Pivot Tables, XLOOKUP/VLOOKUP, INDEX-MATCH, and financial modeling Experience handling payroll and government-mandated contributions and benefits Experience coordinating with government agencies such as BIR, SEC, LGUs, SSS, PhilHealth, and Pag-IBIG Must be based in or near Metro Manila Must be available to start immediately or within a short notice period Key Competencies Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Excellent financial reporting and forecasting abilities Strong leadership and team management skills Excellent verbal and written communication skills Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional and non-finance teams High level of integrity, accountability, and attention to detail Why Join Cliniqon?
