Join a Growing Australian Consulting Firm in the Software IndustryAbout Us We are an Australian-based consulting firm specializing in high-quality technical writing services for the software industry. Our fully remote team collaborates with leading software companies to produce clear, well-structured, and accurate documentation that supports both technical and business objectives. The Role We are seeking a Technical Writer with a background in software development to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for drafting, editing, and refining technical documentation using client-provided materials, independent research, and, at times, audio recordings or transcripts. Comprehensive training on our documentation standards will be provided, and you will work closely with one of our directors. This position is well-suited for individuals who are passionate about technical writing and comfortable working with software and coding concepts. Key Responsibilities Create and edit clear, concise, and high-quality technical documentation Review and analyze client materials, conducting additional research as required Refine documentation derived from raw audio recordings or transcripts Ensure consistency, clarity, and accuracy across all documentation Collaborate with internal teams to maintain technical integrity Manage deadlines effectively while working independently in a remote environment Qualifications Excellent written English communication skills At least two years of experience in technical writing or a software-related role Basic knowledge of software development (e.g., Java, .NET) Familiarity with structured documentation and reporting standards Ability to quickly learn new tools and technologies Self-motivated and capable of working independently in a remote setup Reliable internet connection (minimum 5 Mbps for calls and file downloads) Advantageous: Experience in academic or research writing What We Offer Salary: PHP 25,000 – PHP 30,000 per month (commensurate with experience) Bonuses: Performance-based incentives and 13th-month pay Leave: 20 days of annual leave plus 5 sick days (accrued) Healthcare: HMO coverage for you and two dependents Benefits SSS, PhilHealth, Pag-IBIG, and other statutory benefits Remote Work: 100% remote with flexible daytime hours (Philippine Time) Preferred Background Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science (preferred) At least one year of BPO experience (required) Teaching experience (preferred) Two years of experience in software development, coding, or technical writing (preferred) Fluency in English How To Apply If you are a technically proficient writer with a strong passion for clear and effective communication, we encourage you to apply.
