About The Role We are looking for a Luau Developer with Roblox development experience to join our game development team. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience using Roblox Studio and Luau to build gameplay features, systems, and interactive experiences. You will work closely with game designers, artists, QA testers, and other developers to turn game concepts into functional and engaging Roblox experiences. Key Responsibilities Develop and maintain gameplay features and systems using Luau and Roblox Studio . Implement game mechanics, UI interactions, player systems, and other in-game features. Create and integrate scripts based on game design requirements. Debug, troubleshoot, and optimize scripts and gameplay systems. Test features to ensure functionality, performance, and a smooth player experience. Collaborate with game designers, artists, and QA testers throughout development. Participate in code reviews and contribute to improving development practices. Maintain clear and organized code and technical documentation. Assist in identifying and resolving bugs and technical issues. Qualifications 1–2 years of hands-on experience in Roblox game development. Proficiency in Luau/Lua and experience working with Roblox Studio . Understanding of Roblox scripting, gameplay systems, and client-server architecture. Experience implementing basic game mechanics, UI, player interactions, or similar systems. Familiarity with debugging and troubleshooting Roblox scripts. Basic understanding of version control such as Git is a plus. Good problem-solving and analytical skills. Able to work independently while collaborating effectively with a remote team. Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn. Nice to Have Experience publishing or maintaining games on the Roblox platform. Familiarity with Roblox APIs and services such as DataStoreService, RemoteEvents, RemoteFunctions, and MarketplaceService. Experience with Roblox UI development. Familiarity with optimization and performance considerations in Roblox. Experience working in an Agile or game development environment. A portfolio or examples of previous Roblox projects.
