Primary responsibilities: • Prepare and maintain monthly financial statements for assigned properties. • Process some accounts receivable and accounts payable transactions. • Reconcile bank statements, adjust tenant ledgers and assist vendors with payment status updates. • Monitor and track property operating expenses and capital expenditures. • Assist with annual budget preparation. • Maintain financial security by following internal controls. • Prepare payments by verifying documentation and requesting disbursements. • Prepare financial reports for both internal and external customers. This includes analyzing financial variances to budget. • Maintain company/investor confidence and protect operations by keeping financial information confidential. • Maintaining contract and certificate of insurance information in company software. • Assist site teams with security deposit accounting and other accounting related tasks. • Work with utility companies to ensure service during unit turn activities. • Communicate and facilitate good working relationships with vendors. • Understand basic job costing concepts. • Perform other related tasks and duties as assigned.
