What we’re looking for: Secuna is the leading offensive security platform, empowering organizations of all sizes to proactively identify and properly eliminate security vulnerabilities before they can be exploited by malicious threat actors and become an even more expensive problem. We are looking for a highly motivated Offensive Security Intern to assist our team in the identification and assessment of security vulnerabilities in our clients’ systems and applications. This is an exciting opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the field of offensive security and to work with experienced professionals. Responsibilities Assist in performing vulnerability assessments and penetration testing on networks, web apps, and mobile apps to identify potential security threats and vulnerabilities Assist in documenting all the findings and recommend industry best practices to customers in clear and concise bug reports Assist in participating in security research and development to stay current with emerging security technologies, threats, and techniques Assist in performing a validation of findings and retesting of fixes to ensure successful remediation of identified vulnerabilities. Assist in writing professional and technical penetration testing reports for customers that include clear and actionable recommendations. Develop tools and/or scripts to automate information gathering, vulnerability discovery, and exploitation processes. Conduct regular internal penetration testing of the Secuna platform to ensure ongoing security. Requirements 4th year college taking up Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or related field. With Basic experience/knowledge with penetration testing tools such as Nmap, Metasploit, Nuclei, and Burp Suite. Knowledge of common operating systems (Windows, Linux, macOS) and networking protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP). Understanding of programming languages such as Python or Bash scripting. Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and ability to identify patterns and trends. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
