ROLE MISSION: Run a safe, responsive, and financially disciplined service field operation in which technicians know the plan, customers receive clear communication, and every job is documented, costed, and invoice-ready by the next business day unless an external blocker is recorded. REPORTING AND DECISION RIGHTS: The solid-line manager owns workload, performance, scorecard results, development, and final prioritization. Cross-functional leaders provide requirements and feedback through the documented operating cadence. CORE RESPONSIBILITIES: Translate the weekly service plan into safe daily schedules, job readiness, technician assignments, and documented priorities. Confirm scope, authorization, parts, tools, customer access, and field constraints before dispatch or record an approved exception. Coach Service Plumbers, technicians, and leads; inspect performance evidence and address repeat misses through documented coaching. Own first-line customer and field escalations, communicate recovery plans, and protect commitments without authorizing uncontrolled scope. Review labor, materials, completion, rework, and invoice readiness in ServiceTitan and correct deficiencies at the source. Coordinate with the Service Division Manager, Project Engineer, Finance, Sales, and other divisions when dependencies affect delivery. Identify recurring causes of delay, rework, or margin loss and implement measurable countermeasures. REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS: Five or more years in field service, plumbing, utilities, construction, or comparable operations Demonstrated leadership of field technicians or trade crews Working knowledge of scheduling, safety, customer escalation, job costing, and closeout Ability to read scopes, identify field constraints, and make evidence-based decisions Clear written and verbal communication Preferred Qualifications ServiceTitan experience Plumbing, metering, water infrastructure, or California field-work exposure Formal safety or supervisory training SYSTEMS AND WORKING ENVIRONMENT: ServiceTitan or a comparable field-service and job-management platform Microsoft 365, Teams, Excel, and structured reporting tools FastField or approved field forms for inspection and project evidence Finance-approved reporting for actuals, forecasts, margin, cash, and operating expense APPLICATION EVIDENCE: Example of a field schedule or capacity plan personally owned Measured improvement in productivity, quality, safety, or closeout Customer escalation example with outcome Team size, trade mix, and geographic scope led Why Join Us?
