We're looking for a hands-on DevSecOps Engineer who enjoys building automation that continuously improves security, compliance and engineering productivity. You'll work across AWS, Infrastructure-as-Code, CI/CD pipelines and modern cloud platforms to develop automated security controls, compliance tooling and engineering guardrails that help our teams move quickly without compromising security. This is a technical engineering role for someone who enjoys building solutions—not writing reports. What You'll Be Doing You'll work across our engineering teams to build and improve security automation, including: Developing Infrastructure-as-Code and policy-driven automation. Building automated security and compliance controls into CI/CD pipelines. Designing reusable Terraform modules and cloud security guardrails. Automating evidence collection and security validation. Building Python and Bash automation to reduce repetitive operational tasks. Working closely with software engineers to improve platform security. Developing monitoring, reporting and security dashboards. Continuously improving deployment pipelines, platform reliability and developer experience. Researching and implementing new security automation technologies. Leveraging AI to improve engineering productivity and operational efficiency. Essential Requirements To be considered, you'll be able to demonstrate most of the following: Cloud & Platform Engineering At least 5 years' experience in DevSecOps, Platform Engineering, Cloud Engineering or Security Automation. Strong hands-on AWS experience. Experience operating production Kubernetes environments. Strong Linux administration skills. Infrastructure as Code Commercial experience with: Terraform Infrastructure-as-Code Git GitHub Actions, GitLab CI or Jenkins Automation & Development Strong experience with: Python Bash scripting Automation development CI/CD pipeline design and implementation Security Engineering Experience implementing: Least-privilege access Secrets management Container security Vulnerability scanning Security policy enforcement Cloud security controls Compliance Working knowledge of one or more: ISO 27001 SOC 2 NIST Cybersecurity Framework CIS Benchmarks Experience translating security requirements into automated technical controls will be highly regarded. Highly Desirable Experience with any of the following: Open Policy Agent (OPA) Kubernetes Helm ArgoCD Terragrunt Ansible Docker CloudFormation OpenTelemetry Prometheus Grafana GitOps AWS Lambda AI-assisted software development (Claude Code, GitHub Copilot, Codex or similar) You'll Stand Out If You've Worked In DevSecOps Engineering Platform Engineering Cloud Engineering Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) Security Automation SaaS Platform Engineering This Role Is NOT This isn't a Security Operations Centre (SOC) role.
