ROLE SUMMARY: The Payroll Specialist role will be responsible for managing end-to-end payroll processes, ensuring accurate and timely processing in compliance with local regulations. Key Responsibilities Manage employees’ onboarding into payroll software which includes the collection of all onboarding forms/ details from the clients. Registration with the local statutory body i.e. Superannuation, State Payroll Tax, Workcover etc. Responsible for inputting data into the payroll system. Provide a full spectrum of payroll processing and associated activities including payroll calculation, execution (salaries, leave and other compensation calculations) and reconciliation. Process payroll according to payroll processing schedule (Fortnightly, Twice Monthly, Monthly, Unscheduled etc.). Process the lodgment for IAS PAYG, Superannuation, State Payroll Tax etc. according to the lodgment schedule (Monthly/ Quarterly etc.). Manage the calculation, lodgment, and processing of State Workcover renewals. Process final payment (redundancies, dismissal etc.) for the terminated employees in compliance with all legal and country tax requirements. Deregistration with the related local statutory due to the employees’ offboarding i.e. Workcover. Attend to clients’ inquiries. Maintaining database and other tracking tools as required. Adhoc matters as and when they arise Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy, Finance, or other related field Has at least 4-5 years experience in processing payroll, preferably with experience in processing international payroll Strong knowledge in international payroll regulations, tax-related laws and processing of statutory compliance requirements Has a strong background in different payroll systems and platforms High attention to details, accuracy, and strong communication and problem-solving skills
