Simula Financial is looking for an analytical, strong critical thinker who is confident and highly articulate Financial Solutions Specialist to speak with U.S. consumers who are struggling with debt and help them understand their financial options. This is not a typical call centre position. We are looking for someone who can think critically, ask intelligent questions, uncover the real financial problem and confidently guide a conversation - not simply read from a script. What You’ll Do Speak with inbound and outbound leads who have requested information about financial solutions Understand each client’s debts, payments and financial situation Ask thoughtful questions to identify the underlying financial problem Educate clients on possible solutions and help them understand why additional borrowing may not solve their situation Handle objections professionally and persuasively Follow up consistently with leads and maintain accurate CRM records Work closely with our sales team to convert qualified opportunities into clients What We’re Looking For Bachelor’s degree required, preferably in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, Banking or a related field Experience in banking, lending, credit cards, collections, debt recovery, fintech or other financial services U.S. debt settlement or debt relief experience is a strong asset Excellent spoken and written English Strong critical-thinking and problem-solving ability Intelligent, quick-thinking and comfortable having unscripted conversations Persuasive without being aggressive Able to explain financial concepts clearly and simply Confident handling objections and challenging a client’s assumptions when appropriate Strong listening skills and emotional intelligence Organized and disciplined with follow-up The Person We Want You are curious, articulate and financially minded. You don’t just ask questions from a checklist - you listen to the answers, connect the dots and know what question to ask next. You can build rapport while still confidently helping someone recognize when their current approach to debt isn’t working.
