Position Overview We are seeking a motivated and results-driven Sales Representative to grow our drayage transportation services. This role is ideal for a sales professional who thrives on prospecting, building relationships, and closing deals. Logistics experience is a plus, but we are primarily looking for candidates with strong sales skills and a proven ability to generate revenue. Key Responsibilities Prospect and acquire new customers through cold calling, email outreach, networking, and referrals. Build and maintain relationships with freight forwarders, importers, exporters, warehouses, and logistics companies. Prepare quotes, negotiate rates, and close new business opportunities. Maintain a strong sales pipeline and consistently meet or exceed sales targets. Follow up with prospects and customers to drive repeat business and referrals. Coordinate with operations teams to ensure excellent customer service and successful shipment execution. Accurately track sales activities and opportunities within the CRM system. Qualifications Minimum of 2 years of proven sales experience in any industry. Strong track record of lead generation, business development, and closing sales. Experience with cold calling, outbound prospecting, and client relationship management. Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills. Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and able to work independently in a remote environment. Proven ability to meet or exceed sales quotas and performance goals. Experience in logistics, transportation, freight forwarding, trucking, or drayage is preferred but not required. Familiarity with CRM systems and sales tracking tools is a plus.
