RemoteGenies is hiring 2–3 college students for a paid, fully remote OJT internship. We’ll provide a certificate of completion, sign your school’s MOA and evaluation forms, and credit all required practicum hours. This is not a “fetch coffee” internship — you’ll be doing real marketing work with real audiences from day one. You’ll work across the broader marketing function and learn how a remote company actually acquires customers. What you’ll do: Market and audience research — identify target segments for RemoteGenies’ services, research competitors’ positioning and content strategies, and find gaps we can own. You’ll learn to answer: who is our customer, where do they hang out online, and what makes them buy? Brainstorm campaigns — contribute to campaign concepts, promos, partnerships, and growth experiments in team ideation sessions. Copywriting — draft email campaigns, landing page copy, ad copy variations, and outreach messages, then A/B test and refine based on results. Support lead generation and funnels — help build and maintain email sequences, research prospect lists, and learn how content turns into leads and leads turn into clients. Trend and data reports — monitor industry trends, compile insights on what competitors and the market are doing, and present findings to the team. General marketing operations — assist with tools (scheduling platforms, email software, simple CRM work), keep assets organized, and support whatever campaign is live. You’re a fit if: you’re curious about why people buy, you like both the creative and analytical sides of marketing, and you want a portfolio of real campaigns — not classroom case studies — by the time you graduate. Roles include: monthly allowance, OJT certificate from RemoteGenies, signed school documents (MOA, evaluations, DTR), flexible hours around classes, weekly mentorship check-ins, and a recommendation letter for standout performers. Requirements currently enrolled college student (Marketing, Communications, Multimedia Arts, Business, or related) needing OJT hours; strong written English; own laptop and stable internet; comfortable with remote async work; portfolio or sample content a plus but not required — we care more about your thinking.
