Landscape Design & Preconstruction Specialist ================================================== Remote (Philippines) | Full-Time We are seeking a remote specialist to support our landscape and outdoor-construction sales, estimating, and commercial account teams. Primary Duties Who We Are ============== Unique Genius partners with growing businesses across the United States by connecting them with experienced remote professionals from the Philippines. Our Strategic Partners become trusted members of our clients' teams while receiving ongoing coaching, professional development, and long-term career support from Unique Genius. What You'll Do ================== Create professional 2D plan-view designs and realistic 3D renderings Review and interpret surveys, site photos, measurements, aerial images, and project notes Prepare preliminary site assessments, quantity takeoffs, and material/plant lists Assist in building estimates, scopes of work, and client proposal packages Request, compare, and track vendor and subcontractor pricing Ensure alignment between renderings, quantities, estimates, and written scopes Organize and maintain project files, revisions, proposals, and handoff documents Support Bank of America accounts by tracking inspections, repairs, enhancements, quotes, approvals, and documentation Prepare preliminary scopes and takeoffs for irrigation repairs, plant replacements, mulch, drainage, and landscape renovations Maintain accurate and up-to-date project trackers and opportunity pipelines Collaborate with sales, estimating, and operations teams to support project delivery What Success Looks Like =========================== Consistently delivers accurate, high-quality 2D plans and 3D renderings that align with project requirements Produces reliable quantity takeoffs and estimate drafts that support efficient proposal creation Ensures full alignment between designs, quantities, scopes, and estimates—with minimal errors or revisions Maintains well-organized project files and documentation, making handoffs smooth and efficient Effectively tracks and manages Bank of America accounts, ensuring no missed updates, quotes, or follow-ups Supports the team with timely vendor and subcontractor pricing, helping keep projects on schedule Demonstrates strong attention to detail in site assessments, scopes, and preconstruction work Manages multiple projects while meeting deadlines and quality standards Communicates clearly and professionally with internal teams, ensuring smooth collaboration Contributes to faster turnaround times and improved overall project readiness for execution What You'll Earn ==================== Compensation Competitive compensation based on experience and qualifications Schedule Full-Time | Remote Why Join Unique Genius? =========================== Work remotely while supporting established U.S.-based businesses. Who We're Looking For ========================= A detail-oriented designer with experience in landscape design, drafting, architecture, or construction Someone with 2+ years of experience creating 2D plans and 3D renderings Proficient in tools like SketchUp, AutoCAD, Lumion, Twinmotion, or similar software Strong ability to interpret surveys, site measurements, aerial images, and photos Highly organized and able to manage multiple projects, files, and revisions A process-driven team player who ensures accuracy across designs, takeoffs, and estimates Experience or exposure to estimating, quantity takeoffs, or proposal preparation (preferred) A clear and professional communicator, especially in written English Comfortable working remotely with reliable internet and overlapping with Central Time hours Someone who understands their role as a support specialist, contributing to design and preconstruction without final approval responsibilities Proactive, dependable, and committed to delivering high-quality, error-free work Nice to Have ================ Experience working on U.S.-based landscape or outdoor construction projects Familiarity with irrigation systems, drainage, plant materials, and hardscape elements Experience supporting commercial accounts or multi-site projects (e.g., property portfolios) Knowledge of estimating workflows, pricing structures, and proposal development Proficiency in multiple design/rendering tools (e.g., SketchUp, Lumion, D5, Twinmotion, AutoCAD, VIP3D) Experience with project management or construction software (e.g., JobTread or similar) Ability to create client-ready presentation materials (visuals + organized proposal docs) Experience coordinating with vendors and subcontractors for pricing and scope alignment Familiarity with aerial measurement tools or takeoff software Previous experience working in a remote, fast-paced environment with cross-functional teams What Makes You a Great Fit ============================== You’re a detail-oriented and reliable professional who can confidently create accurate 2D plans and realistic 3D renderings using site data such as surveys, measurements, aerial images, and photos.
