Our Tech Stack Frontend: Typescript, React (NextJS, Remix) & Tailwind Backend: Typescript, Node.js (NestJS), TypeORM, GraphQL and MySQL Infrastructure: AWS and GCP Primary Responsibilities Note: This role combines two equally important responsibilities: PRODUCT OWNERSHIP and FULL STACK DEVELOPMENT As a Product Engineer, you’ll bridge product decisions and engineering execution while remaining a hands-on contributor to development. With an initial focus on our e-commerce storefront, you’ll take product problems from requirements to technical solution and implementation. This isn’t a role where you’ll simply implement tickets. You’ll be expected to ask questions, challenge requirements when necessary, identify better approaches, and take ownership of delivering solutions that create meaningful customer and business impact. Your role includes: Work with Product, UX/UI, Engineering, and QA to plan and deliver product improvements Translate business and product requirements into clear technical solutions and development tasks Review requirements for feasibility, edge cases, dependencies, and risks Define technical approaches and identify opportunities to reuse or extend existing components, APIs, and data structures Develop and maintain storefront and internal system features, and build integrations with internal and external APIs Own features from planning and development through QA and release Validate features against product requirements and expected customer behavior Use product data, customer behavior, and technical findings to identify and recommend improvements Improve development processes, technical documentation, and communication between Product and Engineering Qualifications 3+ years of professional full stack development experience Strong experience with React, Next.js, and TypeScript, with hands-on experience in Node.js/NestJS or similar backend frameworks Good understanding of RESTful APIs, third-party integrations, databases, and SQL Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills Product-minded and able to balance user experience, business needs, and technical constraints AI-native and comfortable using AI-assisted development tools such as Claude Code for development, exploration, debugging, and problem-solving Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field Preferred Qualifications Experience with Shopify, Hydrogen, or other e-commerce platforms Experience with GraphQL, TypeORM, or MySQL Experience with analytics and error-monitoring tools Experience working in cross-functional product teams What Success Looks Like In this role, success means: Requirements & Readiness : Ensure requirements are complete and feasible, identify risks and dependencies early, and prioritize work based on impact, urgency, effort, and technical considerations Product Delivery : Own execution from planning through development, QA, and release while keeping scope clear and minimizing unnecessary changes Engineering Contribution : Remain hands-on in the codebase by developing features, integrations, and technical improvements alongside the engineering team Product Impact : Use customer behavior and product metrics to validate shipped features and recommend improvements that contribute to better customer and business outcomes About Our Team We’re a growing start-up headquartered in Seoul, South Korea, with a Philippine-based team working closely with our HQ.
