Job Description

Company: Akwaaba Group Vacancies: 2 Positions Location: Philippines – Remote Salary: USD 500–600 per month Employment Type: Full-time Core Responsibilities1. Compliance Monitoring Monitor business activities to ensure compliance with company policies, contractual obligations, and applicable regulations. Conduct regular compliance checks across departments and identify potential risks or violations. Track corrective actions and follow up with responsible departments. 2. Policy and Procedure Management Assist in developing, reviewing, and updating compliance policies and standard operating procedures. Ensure employees understand and follow approved policies and compliance requirements. Maintain updated records of policies, procedures, and regulatory changes. 3. Documentation and Record Keeping Review employee, vendor, client, and operational documents for accuracy and completeness. Maintain organized and confidential compliance records. Ensure required licences, permits, agreements, and supporting documents remain valid and accessible. 4. Risk Assessment and Reporting Identify compliance gaps and assess their potential impact on the business. Prepare regular compliance reports for management. Escalate serious violations, missing documents, or high-risk activities promptly. 5. Internal Reviews and Investigations Support internal audits, compliance reviews, and investigations. Collect relevant information and document findings objectively. Recommend practical corrective and preventive actions. 6. Cross-Departmental Coordination Work closely with HR, Finance, Operations, and other departments to maintain compliance standards. Provide guidance on compliance-related questions and documentation. Support compliance across Akwaaba Group’s different business units and operating regions. Qualifications and Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Law, Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, Risk Management, or a related field. Previous experience in compliance, internal audit, risk management, legal support, or a similar position. Good understanding of corporate policies, regulatory requirements, and document controls. Strong analytical, research, and report-writing skills. High attention to detail, confidentiality, and professional integrity. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Workspace. Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively in a remote, multicultural environment. Strong written and verbal English communication skills.
