Lousso Designs Inc.
Junior Sales Representative / Account Executive Furniture, Home Furnishings & Commercial Interiors Remote — South Africa or Philippines About Lousso Designs Lousso Designs is a growing U.S.-based custom furniture, upholstery, and commercial interiors company serving interior designers, hospitality groups, commercial clients, and enterprise customers. Our work includes custom furniture, banquettes, upholstery, tables, millwork, window treatments, and FF&E procurement. We are expanding our sales team and are looking for a Junior Sales Representative / Account Executive who already has meaningful experience selling furniture, home furnishings, interiors, building products, or related design-driven products. We strongly prefer candidates who have been trained inside a large, established company and can bring those sales habits, systems, and standards into our growing business. This is not an entry-level sales role. We are looking for someone who already knows how to sell and wants to grow underneath an experienced Sales Lead. Candidates must be able to work significant overlap with U.S. Eastern Time business hours . What You’ll Do You will work directly with our Sales Lead to help grow Lousso’s commercial, hospitality, design-trade, and enterprise business. Your responsibilities will include: Prospecting & New Business Identify and contact prospective clients Reach out to interior designers, architects, hospitality groups, restaurants, developers, purchasing firms, and commercial clients Conduct outbound calls, emails, and LinkedIn outreach Research target accounts and decision-makers Develop new relationships Follow up consistently until opportunities are qualified Re-engage past customers and dormant opportunities We are looking for someone who is comfortable creating business, not simply waiting for inbound leads. Lead Qualification You will help determine: Is this a real opportunity? What does the client need? What is the project size? What is the timeline? Who is the decision-maker? Is there a budget? Is Lousso a good fit? What is the next step? You should be comfortable asking direct questions and moving opportunities forward. Quotations & Sales Support You will support the Sales Lead with: Preparing sales information Gathering project requirements Coordinating estimate inputs Following up on proposals Answering basic product/service questions Scheduling calls Helping move opportunities toward close Maintaining accurate opportunity records You will gradually take ownership of smaller opportunities and accounts as you develop. Account Development We do not want salespeople focused only on single transactions. You will help grow relationships over time. For active clients, you may: Check in after project completion Ask about upcoming projects Identify additional locations Introduce additional Lousso services Maintain relationships with designers and purchasing teams Expand smaller accounts into larger accounts Our goal is to turn good customers into long-term clients. Working With Project Management Once a project is sold, our Project Manager takes ownership of day-to-day execution. You will stay commercially involved , but you will not be responsible for chasing production schedules, fabric arrivals, measurements, or installation logistics. The structure is: Sales owns growth. Project Management owns execution and the client experience. Operations owns production capacity and scheduling. This allows our sales team to continue selling instead of becoming project coordinators.
