About the Project We are looking for an experienced WordPress and WooCommerce developer to help us update and improve an existing e-commerce website. The main focus of this project is integrating and configuring the Zakeke apparel product uploader/customizer so customers can personalize apparel products directly on the website. This is a contractor position for a specific project, but there may be ongoing website updates, maintenance, and future development work for the right candidate. Responsibilities Integrate and configure Zakeke with WordPress/WooCommerce Set up apparel product customization/upload features Help connect customizable products properly inside WooCommerce Edit and update existing website pages, layouts, buttons, menus, and product pages Troubleshoot plugin conflicts, checkout issues, mobile responsiveness, and user flow problems Improve the customer experience from product selection to customization to checkout Test the uploader/customizer on desktop and mobile Make sure customized product details are passed correctly into WooCommerce orders Provide clear updates on progress and any technical issues found Requirements Strong experience with WordPress and WooCommerce Experience working with product customizer/uploader plugins Experience with Zakeke is highly preferred Good understanding of WooCommerce products, variations, pricing, checkout, and order flow Ability to troubleshoot plugin conflicts and theme issues Basic front-end skills: HTML, CSS, JavaScript Ability to make website layout and design updates Strong attention to detail Good communication skills Reliable, organized, and able to work independently Nice to Have Experience with apparel, print-on-demand, embroidery, or custom product websites Experience with variable products, size/color options, and product templates Experience improving website conversion rates Experience with speed optimization and mobile UX Experience with API integrations or custom WooCommerce development What We Need Help With First Review the current WordPress/WooCommerce website Review the current Zakeke setup or install/configure Zakeke if needed Set up apparel products so customers can upload or customize designs Make sure the customization process works smoothly before checkout Fix any website issues affecting the ordering flow Update pages and design sections as needed How To Apply Please send: A short introduction about your WordPress/WooCommerce experience Examples of WooCommerce websites you have worked on Any experience you have with Zakeke or similar product customizer plugins Your availability Your project-based rate or hourly rate Applicants with direct Zakeke, WooCommerce, apparel customization, or print-on-demand experience will be prioritized.
